I was wary of the cost since so much more $ than other brands. At this point I had tried on about six others and ordered this one piece Spanx as a last resort. It fit like a glove - yes, a little wiggling required to get it on but once I tried my evening dress over it -magic! All bumps were smooth and no under arm bulge like I got with the ones that you wear up to bra line.

Comfortable and stayed in place. Purchased this to wear under a one shoulder cocktail and a formal dress for a wedding. Made me feel much more comfortable about wearing these form fitting dresses for over 6 hours each. Only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is I wish it had more control in the tummy area. Still was sucking in my gut for photos. I’m 5’4”, 140 lbs, 36D and bought the Large based on others feedback to size up if In between sizes. Glad I did. The cup size of the medium just wouldn’t have worked. Looked too small for me. Was more expensive than either dress though. Would purchase Spanx again. This was 2nd purchase. First was the high waist short for under interview suit.

I followed the sizing guide available online, but wished I ordered a large instead of a medium. Also, the upper edge of the cups cut into my chest, leaving a weird bump above and below that was noticeable through the dress. Had to return.Giving two stars because I love the strip of fabric between the legs. It has an opening to use the restroom, but the strip of fabric that you pull to the side makes it much more comfortable than just a completely open hole.

I like how it holds everything in evenly but I did have to go 2 sizes up because my usual shirt and cup size according to the guide was off and didn't match. My back fat flopped out. However, going up 2 sizes helped. The imitators only have control at the waist band and where it ends on your legs. Everywhere else will bulge out. Stick with SPANX. It confines everything in place. I wear sizes 10 to 12. It helped me get into designer denim that is a size 29 with ease. It refines your figure so your fitted clothing look tailored cut.
I bought this to go under a back fitted one shoulder sheath dress. The detachable straps (extra clear straps included) allow this to be worn many ways, and the fitted bra cups mean I can use one strap and the entire piece will stay up and in place. The mid thigh legs DO NOT ride up, as many similar lingerie pieces do. Pricey, but I opted for beige which means I can use for multiple outfits so it's really a steal - allowed me to clean out my lingerie drawer and get rid of multiple other undergarments!
I bought this and a cheaper brand and this one is going back. It was hard to get into, smushed the girls (I’m a 34D) and while it did provide some tummy control there was still a bump which wasn’t an issue for the other one. I could also see lines and back bulge in the dress I bought this for which was not the case with the other brand I purchased. For this price point it should check more boxes. Especially when there’s a lower cost but better product available.
Spanx offers a quality product. It's a comfortable fit and provides tremendous support. My only advice is to be careful with the sizing. I ordered my usual size, but found the support in the strapless bra style was not as ample as I had hoped. The small size does not provide enough coverage for underarm fat support and I'm falling out of the cup size. Best to try on to ensure proper fit here.
Not a good fit. I am a 14 dress size and trousers. But neither the large or the x large fitted with any comfort. I appreciate that I have more fat on my tummy but with sender legs and a small bottom I was hopeful that one would fit. In order to get the strapless cups in line with my boobs it had to be the x large but even though I am a 38 B bra it was impossible to do up the back of the bra and this left me with loose fabric around the legs. I was very disappointed as this was for my outfit at my daughters wedding. Bought a much cheaper option that fitted much better. Even if it had fitted I am not sure that £132 was justified but my daughter also bought one for under wedding dress and was delighted.
I wore this shaper under a form fitting off shoulder bridesmaid dress. My advice would be to size down ONE size and have a friend help you get the back up high. I had phenomenal results. I was extremely comfortable and felt very confident through wedding photos, and dancing the night away. I will be wearing Spanx everything from now on.Wonderful product and I am extremely thankful this exists. I am over 50 and not as “smooth” as I used to be. Wearing this shaper made me feel fantastic!
Amazing quality under garment. So comfortable and fit is amazing with adjustable straps that can be removed so you can wear strapless or with clear straps as well. I am always very pleased with all my purchases online and also instore higly recommend buying underwear from myer as they are always a great fit and fantastic quality garments
