Spanx Thinstincts 2.0 Open-Bust Mid-Thigh Bodysuit Beige S

I've worn a lot of different Spanx products over the years. Some good some less so. This is comfortable, dies what you need it to do and doesn't make you feel ill wearing it because it's so tight. The legs don't roll up, because it is held up by straps worn over your bra the middle doesn't roll down and it's extremely thin so not overly hot.

This is the most comfortable shape wear I’ve ever tried! The straps are a game changer bc you don’t have to worry about the garment rolling down or having to pull it up. The compression is not intense, I’d describe it more on the medium side. A nice hug and that sucks you in just right. I can easily wear this all night long without feeling like I’m suffocated. I’m in between S/M so I tried on both but went with medium to be on the safe side.

While I had some doubts initially about it not having built in bra, as a DD bust, being able to wear the bra of my choice is actually a very good thing - plus it means you can wear different styles of bra to suit different dress necklines. While I could have also just bought pants, I liked the security of the shoulder straps to prevent roll down or sliding. However, what you also need to consider before buying is the shape and cut of the back of your dress. My dress had a square cut 1/2 open back which revealed the straps as they curved up to the shoulder which was not what I anticipated. That way it held onto my bra without showing, plus it meant I had full bodysuit for other occasions/dresses. An unexpected benefit to this garment is that it has two discreet open seams either side of the crotch (hard to explain) but makes for a much snugger fit without it sliding down to tear or cause chafing like stockings sometimes do when they have one straight seam. I guess it also makes it slightly more breathable and allows potential to access/adjust intimate area without taking the whole suit off.
