While I had some doubts initially about it not having built in bra, as a DD bust, being able to wear the bra of my choice is actually a very good thing - plus it means you can wear different styles of bra to suit different dress necklines. However, what you also need to consider before buying is the shape and cut of the back of your dress. My dress had a square cut 1/2 open back which revealed the straps as they curved up to the shoulder which was not what I anticipated. I guess it also makes it slightly more breathable and allows potential to access/adjust intimate area without taking the whole suit off.

Wore this with my dress for my son's wedding. It is a little hard to get on but once you do it is comfortable. Never thought I would say that about Spanx but this was really great. I will wear it with other things as well.

I love the fit. Best shape wear I’ve ever owned. The only issue, which is a big issue for me, is that it is so delicate it ripped as I was putting it on! It’s like pantyhose thin, which looks great under clothes, but I made so many holes in it while putting it on. I don’t know if these holes will run & ruin the fit. I guess time will tell. I do have long almond shaped nails but they’re not sharp & I was very careful. Still made holes everywhere :(
I was skeptical at first because it seemed thin, however I’m glad I spent the money. I had this on for 8 hours on a 90 degree day and I didn’t feel like I needed to take it off. It shapes great and absolutely No panty lines. This is a perfect shaper for summer, or every day.
This definitely made my stomach folds smooth out and didn’t flatten my behind. Also, no hard leg line shown. I’m 5’5, 46in hips, 36in waist, size L/XL or 12/14 dresses/jumpsuits, 12 or 31/32 in bottoms. I purchased a large in black in this Spanx Thinstincts and it is perfect. Definitely brought my yummy tummy in when standing and sitting while still being able to breathe like normal forgetting I was wearing this for 6-8 hours.
I love Spanx. I have many different ones. This one is exactly how it sounds, thin, but it still does a great job at sculpting the tummy etc. Being that it is thin means it doesn’t feel frumpy and also does not cut in around ur legs (unless of course u get a size too small)Postage was quick on this item too.
I suddenly realised after squeezing snuggly into this that wearing it to any long event was going to be a big issue cos you have to remove both this item and outer garment to get to the toilet! Not practical. Returned it for a more practical alternative
This item looks good in theory but is a complete let down in reality. I was putting it on and it ripped while pulling it up. I panicked bc it was my only option. This did not provide the necessary tummy control I was hoping for. May try to return-HUGE disappointment and NOT worth the money.
This is thin but works better than the old model. It used to be so thick. I love the thin line of spanx. Y’all ladies with claw nails needs to be careful and not rip it. This sucked me in two sizes. I hope they make crotch less spanx so we can use the rest room better. This was so tough to get off with a dress on to use the RR
