No hairdressers during lockdown has resulted in long, thick hair, difficult to fit into normal swim cap. So, with a sigh of relief, I put on the Long Hair Cap, and found it easy to put on and roomy enough to cope with all my hair. Sadly, although it is very comfortable, it does not actually keep my hair dry (I swim front/back crawl for 75mins), which would have been the icing on the cake, and which is why I have only given it 4 stars.

Purchased the long hair swim cap for Rottnest Swim training at the pool. So glad I went with this one as it keeps the ends of my hair completely dry. I was worried about my hair being damaged by chlorine but this cap has stopped that from happening. My hairline still gets a bit wet but the ends are dry after swimming. Highly recommend.

One of my Best Buy’s from Rebel. A little water gets in at the nape but nothing like my old swim caps. Perfect for those looking to protect expensive salon colored hair but still wanting to enjoy a swim. Wish they came in lots of colors.

Good cap, fits my long hair, (mid back length) but a bit tricky putting it on. Hair still gets wet, mostly from the nape of the neck. I am new to swimming though, and maybe this is a given! Quality is good, and reduces drag when swimming.
Plenty of stretch and nice thick-ish texture. Unlike my old cap, doesn't feel like it will rip any second when putting it on. Covers my ears and is comfortable to wear- no pressure on forehead.Doesn't keep full head fully dry but that would be a miracle!
Pros: Not needing to stop to pull down a forever riding up cap. In a 1 mile swim I used to stop roughly every 10 or more lengths. I do still need to stop for the same reason, but nothing like as many times. Thank you.Cons: It is such a blessing not having to stop every 3 lengths to pull down the cap. I feel it still could do with a tad more depth, as there still is upwards slippage - have you thought about re-introducing the under chin strap, which would overcome this? Sorry for delay in replying, our pool has only just re-opened.
This is the only cap that I have been able to find that is suitable for my long hair. I have tried other caps and they always only reach 1/3 past my ears due to the hair bun. With this cap I can actually cover my ears. My hair is about 10cm past my shoulders in length. Will definitely buy this again when I need a new cap.
Perfect cap for my long thick hair. Ive tried others but can never get all of my hair into the cap. Comfotable to wear, feels durable and looks like it will last the distance! Highly recommend!
This is the second Speedo hat I've had but the first one for long hair. My hair is only shoulder length and I only really want to protect my dyed hair from chlorine as much as possible. The standard size one was fine but my hairline is quite low and I was looking for extra length to be able to pull it down as far as possible. It's a bit better than the standard one for that purpose but not a lot. As for the hats themselves I find them to be great, relatively easy to put on but do require the ability to stretch it open and put over and on your head so if your hands or shoulders are weak beware. I put a small tear in the edge of my previous one and it ripped hence having to buy a new one. this is the perfect swim cap for long hair - essential part of your swimmers kit! easy to get on and off. top tip- wet your hair first and add conditioner on the ends before you swim then put this on cap as wet hair absorbs less chlorine- no cap will keep your hair perfectly dry but at least if you wet your hair first and wear this cap you will be protecting your hair. Plus your swim will be more streamlined if your hair is out os the way!
