Spicebomb Infrared by Viktor & Rolf Eau De Parfum Spray 1.7 oz

This smells nice more of a masculine scent. It’s spicy, leathery, and woody. The cinnamon mixed with the chili pepper is really nice. This is more for the colder weather and the performance is great. The projection isn’t overwhelming, but it’s good people will definitely still smell you. I like the bottle it’s different and neat. The sprayer provides nice distribution. The price is good, but could be better. I’d absolutely recommend this.

This release by VictorRolf has really surprised me. I like the Spicebomb fragrances, but this has got to be my favorite out of the entire line. I love the habanero like spice that shines through the opening blast and settles into a nice, spicy, leather accord. Beautiful packaging and presentation. This is more refined than the EDT which is also a great fragrance. I recommend this one to anybody. It can be used any time of year but especially during the cooler seasons. This is one I may have to purchase a backup bottle of because I've used a good 1/3 of the bottle in 2 months.

Great flanker to the original spicebomb. This one to me smells a bit less sweet on the drydown than the Extreme version. Drydown is still quite similar to my nose. Spicy warm cinnamon which is great for winter/fall. The big difference is the opening. Infrared has more of a red-fruity opening. I like both versions, but it's redundant to own both since they're very similar to each other. Try them out in a store and see which one you like best. I wish the red fruits at the beginning would last a bit longer as well because I really like that part of the fragrance. There is also an addition of red pepper in Infrared. I didn't pick it up untill I read the notes themselves. Performance is absolutely mental, I can smell it after 12 hours on my skin fairly strong. I think projection is very high first hour or two and then becomes moderate for 4-6 hours. After that it's a (fairly strong) skin scent.

As of now, the cinnamon is making the experience too focused, and supporting that with a full-bodied tobacco could really help. Overall, it's quite nice. The only thing that makes it seem less exciting is that the EDT is a richer and better-balanced release, which is the opposite of what we might expect.

The ad shows a guy in the sauna - almost naked because of the heat and yet he decided to spray Spicebomb Infrared which has notes of habanero red pimento? It does not make sense! If marketed to women as a sweet and spicy fragrance with berry and tobacco notes, it could be mistaken as an entry to Tom Ford’s Private Blend - but alas, the marketing cheapened a potentially unique creation. Top Note: Relatively subdued compared to the other entries in the Spicebomb line. Still too sweet for my taste but tastefully sweet. Middle: Fruit berries emerge with a companionship of tobacco accord.
