I bought the skippable set a few months ago and wow! Not only does Spikeball get the ladies but it also helps make new friendships and get more people involved. As soon as I brought Spikeball to a softball tournament people were gathered around by the groups. We were playing Spikeball while also attending a softball tournament. Serving for point 7 the ball took a massive hop and was heading over the outfield fence but the returner for "Down and Dirty" had glory in his eyes he took off towards the fence and in one leaping bounce he saves the ball as it goes towards the net his teammates dives over the net and gets the point. The crowd went crazy we even had one person go streaking through the game! If only ESPN would have covered this game they would have top plays for the next 10 years..... Finally, it was coming to the end the score was 26-27 "Spikes and Mike" were serving to win the game as the ball goes off the net the wind picks up and carries the ball into the sunset. This was the best ending to the game their could be not only were all the players on both teams considered hero they were soon given hand made trophies that will forever remain their greatest trophy ever!!!! This game is like camping it's in tents!May the Spikeballing be with you and the odds ever in your favor!!!!If you don't try to cheat in this game you are not trying!!Good luck my fellow Spikeballers!!!

I can't believe what garbage this brand and product is. I purchased for my 15 year old. The balls were not pumped up- they were mushy. The net was oversized and no matter how hard you pulled it to tighten, it was like a flimsy pit. Couldn't fold in yellow legs without waiting for it to Crack. Returned after opening it, unboxing, and feeling ripped off for $70 dollars. The end. Waste of our time.

This is a fun game to play for hours, but there is not much of a bounce from the ball. We tightened the net, blew up the balls and still only a minimal bounce. You really have to bend down low to hit effectively. Still 2 or more players crowd around it and have fun that actually lasts a good amount of time while being outdoors!

The game is really fun, but the item is a little difficult to get playable. My son had to set it up, I couldn’t figure it out - he plays at school so has a lot of experience putting it together. Once he had it up we had to stop playing a couple of times to tighten the net and pump up the balls a little. After several adjustments, we had a great time volleying. The net became too soft, so he had to tighten it, which was annoying. For $60 it is a pain to have to keep stopping fun play to fix it. The dog took a real shine to the spongy yellow balls and jumped into the net to try to grab one. The plastic surround and net survived, in spite of a couple Beagle dive bombs, but not recommended to use around ridiculous dogs.
Not an easy game to get going. Definitely better with 4 people. The rim seems to be in play far too much until you get more accurate with your placing of the ball. When the ball hits the rim it’s basically unplayable. Easy set up. Good exercise!
I had high hopes for this game. I went to beach and saw several people playing with it . I would not pay full price for this . Its made of low quality materials. I bought it on sale. The net seems hard to tighten and I wasnt blow awau by it. Its getting returned . I didnt like it.

I'd suggest setting it up prior to giving if for kids. This way you don't have a couple of excited kids running around getting excited and slightly impatient to use it as you and your husband our setting it up. Takes a little bit of the joy out of it for them. Ultimately though, an amazing game that we can play as a family and be a little more active with the kids. We purchased this game because some of my son's friends spoke highly about it. When it came, I could tell right away that it was junk. The $60 price tag does not justify the quality at all. I was able to put most of it together easily, with the exception of the net. We tried to make sure the net was tight so the balls would bounce. As I was putting the game together, I could tell it was cheap junk and was not constructed well. After I put it together, it never worked properly. No matter how hard we tried, the net was never very tight and the balls did not bounce well.Luckily I was able to return it and Target was great about giving me my money back but I do not recommend this $60 piece of garbage!
This set was just what my son wanted. He’s finally moving to a house with a garden and this is perfect for the better weather when you want to be outdoors. The set is great quality and easy to carry. It can be taken apart easily and set up anywhere.
cheap build quality. it's all made of flimsy plastic. the rim is just hollow plastic. i have only bought this product as I had to replace my friend's spikeball kit, as it broke with a light tap near the edges where it connects to the other pieces, where it should be the strongest. I don't get how it's worth 60 bucks. I would not recommend. if it was made of better materials, I would recommend as it is a fun game, but not with the current build quality.
