Absolutely love spitfire and dont plan on trying new brands anytime soon. Loved the wheel, didt everything perfectly but I had a feeling that the conicals lock in better.

I got Spitfire Formula four and Bones stf and spf\'s. The spitfire\'s escell when it comes to powersliding and flat spot resistance. The Spitfire seem just a little bit softer and slidier at the same time. Bones are harder, they make a harder (clay-like) sound on landings and \bark\ better (bwwwuuuuuhhh!), but they \stick\ more when I want to slide them. Weird right, you\'d expect the hardest wheel to slide best but not so, maybe the formula four\'s secret ingredient is a little wax mixed in there :) If you want to stick (fx on vert / skate-lite) then mayb bones, but for the allround performance go for the spits...

I cannot compare them to Bones, yet. But, damn(!) these are the best wheels I\'ve ever ridden. They don\'t flatspot and are very easy to revert and powerslide. It only took me two tries to get my backside 360 reverts on-lock. I\'m in love. I have Bones STF\'s laying around because my friends convinced me to try them. I don\'t think I\'ll love the Bones STF\'s as much as I love my Spitfires!

SIZE: The 52mm feels like the perfect balance, no wheelbite but large enough to get enough speed. They are pretty thin, which makes them feel lightfooted but they are so thin that my spacers did not fit inside them!HARDNESS: Hard enough to get a bit of slide (great for tricks), but barely soft enough to give a bit of comfort. Using them with shock pads solves that problem for me.SPEED: These wheels are FAST. I could not imagine that wheels could make such a difference in speed.LOOKS: The color of the material is not as yellow as on the picture, which is a good thing to me. The Spitfire-circle was not printed exactly in the center, which gives it a bit of a wobbly look when spinning. Turning the wheels inside out solved this for me.

These just feel amazing (53mm). I haven\'t had them for too long but I can already tell they\'ll last for a long time. The graphic wears off very quickly though, yet I personally don\'t mind.

Totally recommended for those who love to slide, and want a harder wheel that lasts a long time.The material is really high quality, they ride a lot smoother than other wheels of comparable hardness, and dirt/debris does not get embedded in the riding surface like on some other wheels. They also do not appear to wear as quickly as my previous set of wheels. I bomb a lot of hills, and speed check a lot so usually wheels wear out pretty fast for me.They can be a bit slippery the first session or two, but once they\'re broken in they grip a little better. The slide on these wheels is first class, super easy to break into a powerslide whenever you want and it doesn\'t stick on nose and tail slides.The hype on these is considerable, but totally justified.

Awesome OG wheels

If you like that classic OG wheels ride, then these are the wheels for those that aren't into the newer formula changes in wheels. Classic ride, slide and sound!

Formula 4 wheels are always great

You get what you pay for, if you can afford them formula 4 wheels are always great. They wear extremely well and should last years, they generally don’t flat spot either unless you really try.Though the classic shape does not lock in quite as well as something with a straighter edge like a conical, the rounded edge of these allows it to slip into the grind easier.

If the tablet and conical full had a baby it would be the OG classics. Formula four 99a, with the width I need in the 55 mm gets me through the crust. Round enough for good slides and flat enough for a good lock-in, best of both worlds. With a cut away design shaves some weight be and preserves the graphic. Great all around wheel.
