Same results as Coco. Bought it in May. Hose leaked from the beginning, a very small spray at the connection to the machine. The suction is very poor, leaving water in/on the surface we are cleaning. Looking at the other comments this seems to be a VERY COMMON PROBLEM (NOTE TO BISSELL). The hose is also quite stiff, making it awkward to use. Stiff hose, leaking and then catching fire (a little humor here, of course I had just gotten an 18 inch X 18 inch square all wet, sprayed and scrubbed to. Next step was to suck all the dirt off ) Too Bad - Really like Bissell, but this model was a disaster and dangerous to use. Will recommend Bissell but will recommend NOT TO GET THIS ONE, OR ANY OF ITS SIBLINGS.

Here's my problem: I LOVE the cleaning qualities of this puppy(I know, weird problem)! We have a low-functioning Autisitic child who is 14, still in "pull-ups" and vomits/defecates as a result of anxieties of non-routine situations/visitors. He also has PICA and a major sensory deficiency, so he thrives on pressure and tactile things. Now, I don't say all this in an attempt at a pity party, I say all this because for years I thought of how nice it would be to have a carpet cleaner, because when you have a sensory seeking child who not only vomits randomly but also can access his pull-up...Yeah. That stuff is his paint and the carpet/mattress/couch is his canvas. That being said, I didn't voice my wants until a couple years ago when I was reaching a breaking point. ... MoreHere's my problem: I LOVE the cleaning qualities of this puppy(I know, weird problem)! Apparently I voiced it so much that I was double blessed two Christmases ago(2016)--my husband won this little spot cleaner as an incentive reward at work and my parents went out and got me the Bissell Power Steamer PowerBrush Select Upright Carpet Cleaner(this is the point that you realize you're a parent, by the way...getting excited over cleaning machines as presents)! It's taken me this long to say something about it because not only am I not a big complainer(I'm told I should speak my mind more) but honestly, they're amazing! Aside from having to fill both of them frequently, they do the job! Here is my one HUGE problem with the SpotClean: the dirty water tank is extremely difficult to empty. Let me rephrase...if I use the rubber tab and empty through there it's very time consuming, and if I opt to twist the bottom off instead, it's nearly impossible to twist off. Perhaps I'm just extremely weak...? Regardless, in the attempts to empty the dirty water it feels almost as if I'm making more of a mess than what I just cleaned up! Tonight, the pressure needed to open the bottom of the tank took it's toll and it cracked. Which pushed me to another breaking point that motivated me to finally complain.

The product (2513G) works as far as it's ability to spray solution and use suction to remove the stain, but it is mostly just a reskinned Little Green Machine. The Proheat branding just means it uses "Heatwave Technology" which funnels the exhaust of the machine by the clean water tank to "maintain the temperature", but I didn't notice a difference. It does not have a heating element. I think the confusion is that there *was* a Little Green Proheat that did have a heating element, model 14359, but it is no longer in production. So, if the product mentions "Heatwave Technology" it will not actively heat the water. That being said it does function well as a spot cleaner as you would expect, it's just a different looking Little Green Machine with different dimensions.

Originally I did think this would be a great product. Although the Bissell vacuum I purchased was also weak. This Bissell pet portable pro heat cleaner was purchased to clean a small carpet and couch. It did a fair job on the carpet at first. The second time I used it there was water leaking and the sprayer started to drip not spray. I was careful when cleaning it, each time it was emptied. As others have said it doesn't actually heat the water, you just add hot water to the tank. The sample bottles of Bissell cleaner and oxy boost were nice to try, the regular size were priced high I thought. I wouldn't recommend this product. Disappointed that this was a waste of money. Disappointed of time it took to re-clean the area where dirty water leaked out. I looked up how ... MoreOriginally I did think this would be a great product. I am now 0 for 3 on Bissell's portable cleaning products. This is my THIRD carpet cleaner that has failed within a couple of years of purchase. My first two were the Little Green Bissell Machines. On both of these units, it was as though an internal seal gave way. I'd be using the product and then a sound would come from within the machine as if a seal gave way. I would then lose suction. My father had this exact same issue with his. But even after my two failed units (plus an additional unit of my father's), I took a chance and purchased yet another product, the Spot Clean ProHeat, back in July of 2018. And once again, another failure. I now have fluid and air leaking out of the unit and spraying all over the very carpet I'm trying to clean. It's a great product in theory and is really convenient for cleaning up the occasional mess left by a pet. But between my father and I, we have now had FOUR units that have failed on us. Not a good track record. I'm sad to say I've given up on this brand and I won't be purchasing another.
Just what I needed and works great on rugs with old stains and new.Love that my purchase of a Bissell product helps save pets. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Love that all attachments attach to the machine for storage. Compact and easy to store. Blaine's delivered exactly when they said they would. Price was great and loved the added bonus of the snacks thrown in. I am loving the trail mix. I think I'm addicted.
I really like the compact form factor, we have been keeping this unit near by on standby for when a pet accident happens. In the past we have owned larger full sized Bissell pet carpet cleaners, but those units were always a chore to bring out and get set up. The Pro Heat name is down right deceptive, there is no dedicated heating element in this unit. Instead they have a "heatwave technology" which from what I understand vents the passive heat which is generated from the vacuum motor. The idea is that you add Hot water to the unit and it helps maintain that temperature. The Bissell engineers and designers have done a great job building this unit. Its construction is of high quality materials and it's well thought out on how to fill and dump. Just do not leave water in it or put it in a cold garage. Note: this unit does not have the motorized scrubber, it's uses old fashioned elbow grease, which is less moving parts = longer life span
Got this cleaner on Black Friday at Target for approx. half price - thought I was getting a great buy! However, I've been quite disappointed in this unit's performance. Our household has a cat that poops on the rug every day, which means I clean up whatever spot the cat picks on a daily basis. We've gone thru 5 or 6 Bissell cleaners over the years, and it it rare that any of them have remained fully functional after 12 months of daily use. The machine does NOT heat the soap solution.* Sprayer on applicator nozzle only dribbles soap solution, rather than evenly spaying the soap solution over the dirty area.Overall evaluation: POOR. I'm not at all happy with this purchase. This one is going back to Bissell, and I hope I get a Simple Green back in return - at least those seem to last a few months before the pumps break.
I'm happy with the machines ability to apply cleaner, scrub and suction the waste up leaving a clean or cleaner area depending on the severity of the mess. I am unhappy that to employ the machine now, I keep it on a boot tray when I turn it on to catch the wastewater the fan is blowing out from underneath it. This is a repeat observation from several other users. There appears to be a seating issue with the wastewater tank. I'm am also displeased with the inability to breakdown the machine more for cleaning. There are no quick-connect couplings to permit effective cleaning (soaking or scrubbing) of the hose. In summary, the machine can clean effectively, but it can also possibly create more mess than it is cleaning. We are an older, retired couple who absolutely LOVE our Bissell Spot Clean carpet and upholstery scrubber. For us it's a life saver in the figurative sense. It was well worth every penny we paid for it and it paid for itself the 2nd time we used it. When we bought our home going on Nov. 29, 2011 there was a huge black stain about the circumference of a scrub pail in our master bedroom carpeting that looked like oil. We have no idea how long the stain had been in the carpeting or exactly what the stain was from. We tried a spray on carpet cleaner that allegedly removes stains to no avail. It didn't phase the stain, it didn't even lighten the stain. My husband used our new Bissell Spot Clean scrubber on the stain on Sept. 17, 2013. 17, 2013. He didn't use any elbow grease and he only spent about 1 minute scrubbing the stain. Oh my gosh, a miracle has occurred, THE STAIN IS COMPLETELY GONE and our carpet looks like new, literally. We're both completely astounded because we thought we'd have to replace our bedroom carpeting to get rid of the stain. There were several other set-in stains in the carpet: red juice and coffee. The Spot Clean scrubber took those set-in stains completely OUT of the carpet as well. We clean both of our living room sofas and the loveseat once a week with the Bissell Spot Clean scrubber. It got rid of set-in stains from them as well as easily as if they just happened. Prior to buying our Bissell Spot Clean portable scrubber, we priced the cost to RENT a carpet / upholstery scrubber in our local stores because our sofas had a horrible odor. The cost of renting a scrubber for 36 hours was $40, then with the cost of buying the necessary detergent and a bottle of the deodorizer, we would have spent about $80 total not including sales tax. We figured we would be financially better off to BUY a portable scrubber for a little more than the cost of renting. When we read the reviews on many brands of portable upholstery scrubbers, we chose the Bissell Spot Clean which was one of the smartest decisions that we ever made. We own a 3 year old Morkie and a 2 year old Yorkie who are sometimes covered with dirt, mud and dust, who lay on the back of the sofas & loveseat so they can look out our living room windows. We also have Seventeen children who are now grown and Nineteen grandchildren who make messes whenever they come to visit. Our Bissell Spot Clean easily cleans up those messes without any effort on our part. We now scrub our sofas once a week because our Bissell Spot Clean scrubber make them look like new and SMELL like new. If you're considering buying a portable carpet and upholstery scrubber, look no further than the Bissell Spot Clean. You'll be amazed by the results!
