My husband and I put this together. YouTube videos and the BILT app were super helpful! The trampoline itself is so much better than any other I've seen. I feel like my kids are very safe in this trampoline. I personally tore my ACL on a DIFFERENT trampoline so safety is extra important to me! It is high quality. It will last for many, many years! If you are looking at this model you are probably concerned about what fits and whether this will be big enough. We visited a Springfree showroom before buying. The trampolines do appear a little bigger in the showroom than in a yard. If space were not an issue, we think we would prefer the Large Square. Our yard has a nice view that we did not want to obstruct, so we got the medium oval to put in a narrower, rectangular part of the yard that is off to the side. The medium oval has a compact feel, but does still have enough usable space for up to 3 jumpers who are not attempting flips or something. The net curves inward on the ends of the oval and this can have the effect of making the jumping space feel slightly smaller. One benefit of this compact size is it is relatively easy to move if you need to move it for mowing. I'll be looking to add OEM or aftermarket wheels to make that easier. Also, it is surprisingly bouncy, especially when bouncing next to my 6 year old. Probably a bit bouncier than one of the jumbo models we also tried.

He needed a safe trampoline after being injured by a breaking spring, traveling at a very high velocity and stabbing him deeply in the leg, which produced a lot of blood and trauma, from his traditional trampoline, even though the springs were covered, as recommended, by the cover that came with the trampoline. This trampoline is remarkably well constructed and far better looking than standard trampolines. The installer assembled it in less than an hour. It's lightweight enough for me to move it around by myself. My 8 yo LOVES jumping on it every day, which has helped her sleep better and regulate her mood. And I've started doing cardio workouts on it too. Safer than any other trampoline on the market because of the secure net and lack of springs at foot level. Will most likely move up to the large oval size in a few years.

With proper maintenance I believe that I can deter degradation for longer than other spring-loaded trampolines. Assembly was very easy, quick and safe. My main critique is the mat rod assembly instructions needed better clarity in the sequence process. Assembly number 5 states "Then, [working around the frame], insert the remaining mat rods...." I pre-read the instructions, then in the usual way, followed the sequences of assembly mistakenly forgetting to forward to Assembly 7a to first install the six blue tabbed rods. There was no warning to forward to 7a for extra clarity. We struggled at first until I said we would do installation like a canvas on a painting frame. The mat rods went in quick and easy. The numbered placement sequence of the directions, in my opinion, does not follow a compositional flow of how the eye naturally moves, ergo flipping the instructions over and over again to follow what is next. Again, I did read the instructions before install and videos. Zero was the the first page and naturally number one would be he next on the bottom, but you have number 2 and number one in not until the instructions are flipped four more times. On that note the BILT app was difficult to download and didn't.

Myself (a female) and my friend (also female) who are confident at putting things together didn't have the muscle strength to get the rods into the trampoline. And in trying I was sore for several days after. Springfree eliminates two of the three biggest safety concerns of conventional spring apparatus- you can't fall off it, and you can't get caught in any springs- so while I can't control how good my 9 year old is at flips, I know at least he is contained by a full jump surface and the soft stretchy mesh. It's really a beautiful, solid piece of equipment. Very impressive. I know when you look at it on the site it's impossible to think, initially, that it's worth the price.
