SRC Recovery garments aid in the treatment of C-section wounds, Perineal trauma, Episiotomy wounds, Abdominal muscle separation (Diastasis Rectus Abdominus Muscle DRAM), Lower back pain. Unlike postpartum belly bands, SRC Recovery Leggings can treat multiple conditions, are more comfortable to wear and are more likely to be worn for longer periods which increases their effectiveness. Muscle deactivation will occur if you pull the postpartum belly band too tight when putting it on. Postpartum belly bands should only be worn for short periods, 2-3 hours to prevent deactivation of your muscles. For information on health fund rebates, see here .

I wish I had of known about these with my previous 2 children as well. I also wish I had of bought a pair for during my pregnancy! Will be recommending to literally every pregnant mumma I see. I think you should be sending pamphlets to every hospital that delivers babies and every maternal health nurses office as well as midwife offices in Australia if you don’t already. These are seriously next level!

After literally a week's wear the side seams went all fuzzy like a fluff magnet looking old and worn. The front centre panel agitates my c section incisions surrounding massively, and the quality overall doesn't live up to expectations comparatively to the other brand I bought- same price point. I also find the pattern to be less flattering on the stomach area compared to the 2xu which have a seam free front panel that pulls every thing up against gravity and smooths it seamlessly. The double layered fabric in the mid section also causes inconvenient havoc when pulling them on- bunching and forming rouged lines that take time to smooth and arrange. Not a fan.

Effective for femoral hernia, diastasis, and variscosities

I've had three births with short intervals between. A week before I discovered my last pregnancy, I noticed a three finger abdominal separation. I then discovered I was pregnant and figured I'd have to wait until after birth to resolve the diastasis. I did order these pants at 36 weeks, and was on the cusp of a size medium or large. I ordered the medium as I know how quickly I return to my normal size after pregnancy and was glad I did. I put them on for the first time two days postpartum and didn't find it too difficult to get on by myself. I wore them day and night for about 4 and a half weeks before checking my diastasis (I'd been very careful with posture and avoided moving in a problematic way) and it is at most a one and a half finger gap right now, maybe only ...Ā MoreI've had three births with short intervals between. I'm so relieved and pleased at how effective these were in helping my diastasis. What's more, my femoral hernia has not shown back up, although it did after my first and second pregnancy. I've stopped wearing the pants for a week or so because I've lost enough weight that they don't compress anymore, and my hernia just hasn't presented. I will add that my vulvar variscosities are less prominent at this point postpartum than they were at this point postpartum in my last pregnancy- they resolved more quickly, though I believe they would have resolved completely without the pants after a few more weeks. I couldn't be happier with these pants. They appear in as good condition now as when I bought them, no quality issues, and I will certainly be keeping them for my next pregnancy. So happy I invested in these. Will be reccomending to pregnant friends.

Fantastic product

These are amazing! I had a C-section. The support from these leggings is amazing. Made the recovery so much easier and took away the pain and discomfort. After the first couple of days I went online to order more pairs. Literally wore a pair everyday. Helped my belly reduce in size so quickly which was fantastic after having twins. Can’t recommend highly enough

Great leggings
20 September 2023

I ordered this together with the recovery shorts and recovery shorts mini. The leggings are great to wear esp on days when pants/jeans are too heavy. This provides great support for both my core/torso and thighs without being too constricting and hurting my back. Easy to move around and get things done. Improves my posture too.Sizing:My pre pregnancy size was AU8/10. While pregnant my SRC size was XL. Postpartum, I’m back to a size AU10/waist 28 in most jeans but I sized up when I ordered because I found SRC sizes run a bit small (esp around the thigh area). I ordered the recovery mini shorts in Medium and the fit is ok. I’m 160cm tall and the length was just right.

Great postpartum tights
22 August 2023

I purchased the recovery tights for my postpartum period. For anyone who’s given birth, you feel a little ā€œsaggyā€ with your deflated belly. This made me feel so much more comfortable and supported. The waist is very high so it covers your entire abdomen which I found even more supportive. The long length was a little difficult to get on and off but as I was wearing them for the majority of the day that wasn’t really a big issue. It definitely gets easier the more you do it. These tights are a great investment for postpartum and any other times you may need that extra bit of support.

Other brands don't compare!
22 June 2024

I was initially reluctant given the price and brought a different cheaper brand which also claimed to provide medical grade compression. I was disappointed by the other brand so decided to try SRC. To say the two aren't comparable is an understatement! SRC provides just the right level of compression, was comfortable even over my C section scar, and made my first few walks so much easier. I've been living in them since. Highly recommend for anyone post C-section.

This is a fantastic product. I bought these leggings because I have lymphodema in my hip and leg after lymph node removal from my groin. The compression is fantastic but still easy to wear. The waistband can be a bit uncomfortable but Ive learned that if you keep it over the bra its much better. The leggings are not at all sweaty to exercise in which is amazing! Im really glad I bought these and will probably purchase more in the future.

These are brilliant. I had the pregnancy ones too and those were fantastic - made a huge impact on how I felt every day.Had a Caesar this time around and was able to pull the tights on around day four post delivery. Felt extremely tight but now about two weeks post delivery they are good to get on and off, provided I stretch them past my stitches.Only problem is of course the price, which is a pretty big outlay. I purchased two with the intention of wearing them every day for about six weeks. Waistband is so tight!

So, I really wanted to love these, because I could definitely use the compression, but there is just no way I can wear them with the waistband the way it is. I bought these during my last month of pregnancy. The hip measurements are accurate. The pregnancy size M fit. The leggings fit on my legs. But now postpartum, there is just no way to wear these for any length of time. Everything fits but the waistband, which is so much tighter than the rest of the belly support. It becomes far too uncomfortable after about 20 minutes, and it gives the worst muffin top because the compression levels are so different. I thought maybe I just have the wrong size, but everything else fits, and if everything else were bigger I can't imagine the compression would be that effective. ...Ā MoreSo, I really wanted to love these, because I could definitely use the compression, but there is just no way I can wear them with the waistband the way it is. Basically, they seem good quality, but I just can't get over the tightness of this one particular part. In addition, the website states that they are a more mild compression than a bellyband and so more suitable for longterm wear, but there is no way I could ever get a bellyband as tight as this waistband is. So, I'm pretty confused.
