This is a fruity lotion that I like, because I can mix it down to about 3 parts purified tap water to 1 part lotion. This water/lotion mixture does a great job of moisturizing without clogging pores like so many lotions do. A bottle will last for 6 months or more too when mixing with water. Additionally, this lotion seems to be of a citrusy type origin which is refreshing and does a great job removing dead layers of skin. Because it removes the dead skin, pores stay open. I really feel the pores opening and staying open, and the smell of this product is absolutely fantastic! I recommend at least a try for anyone looking for a good renewing lotion. Can be paired very effectively with anti-itch cream such as Cerave, also, for itching associated with dryness. I really enjoyed applying this lotion. It went on smoothly without any greasy feeling. The scent is very faint, and very pleasant. I use this lotion after my shower, and it's quite refreshing. While it is a bit "thinner" than some other lotions I've used, its moisturizing effect was very good. The pump worked well once the product made it to the top, and I liked that I could see when the lotion reached the top since the pump is clear. For the quantity and price, you really can't go wrong.

I'm perplexed as to why Unilever felt it made sense to discontinue a product that is revered by so many customers and is top quality. This lotion is a staple in my home. I'm devastated that I've been searching and searching for this lotion and it's been discontinued. Why fix something that is not broken? I'm sure there were other lotions that you offer with less sell through that could have been discontinued. Please don't just share my feedback as well as others, but bring this product back so that we can stay lotioned and you can generate revenue. We need this lotion back now. Please help us because our skins are dry and do you know how challenging it is to find a lotion for sensitive skin. Help your customers out please.
this is THE BEST cream to make it to market in years!!! dramatically improves skin in multiple ways, even a regular moderate amount as hair conditioner had truly AMAZING effects. So I am always sharing and recommending it to many others, women %26 men %26 I'm proof it workswith thigh length silky blonde hair %26 good enough skin that most people think I'm 40-50 years old---but I'm thankful %26 proud to admit I'll be 71 this fall. So trust my advise, this is a marvelous product!
Much to my great relief I found St Ives in a drug store in Boston 37 years ago. I had amassed several bottles of Lotion trying to find relief of irritated dry skin. NONE of those lotions helped until I tried St Ives. The itching and scratching stopped! St Ives helped to maintain the COLLAGEN and ELASTIN of my skin through out the 37years! Now I can't find any bottles of this "must have" lotion!!! The dry skin has returned along with the itching and scratching. Other lotions DO NOT KEEP MY SKIN MOISTURIZED AND ITCH FREE! It, also, kept my skin looking healthy and youthful for several years. All the stores do not carry it. PLEASE 🙏 return it to the market and stores. THE BEST LOTION PRODUCT EVER FOR SKIN !!! ❤️

About a year ago, you changed the product - it didn't quite work as well and I had to use more than I normally did...but you added a scent that is quite strong and I am scent sensitive. I loved the lotion so much that I have just had to get over the smell. Now I am running low and went to get another bottle. BUT YOU HAVE NOT ONLY CHANGED THE PRODUCT AGAIN, IT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. I do not understand why you changed the formula in the first place...I see here on the reviews that I am not alone in this issue. Why can you not go back to the way it was, or just bring back the second generation of the 24 Hour Restoring? I received some of this lotion a couple Christmases ago. I LOVED it. Best lotion ever. However, I have an allergy to soy that intensified around the same time. I can normally handle ingesting soybean oil, but I cannot handle having it go directly into my bloodstream through my skin. My reaction is often intense anxiety as opposed to a rash or hives. If you are even a little allergic to soy (a TOP 8 ALLERGEN) do not use this lotion (similarly, stay away from the new-ish Cetaphil formula.) This review isn't regarding the quality but the ingredients.
