I know this product first hand. I've seen them being manufactured and know the extreme measures these pencils go through in the manufacturing process. It is easy to understand why the quality of these exceptional pencils is so much appreciated. After all, the Staedtler name in pencil manufacturing has been around since the 1600's. I haven't done much sketching for quite a while. I started painting and found myself having to sketch certain things to obtain proper proportion and depth. I was using a standard #2 pencil and found it to be inadequate.
