This level has been a great tool for our greenhouse hard scape projects. The bright color makes it easy to find in the chaos and the plastic cleans off easily in those dirty conditions. The durability is also top notch. Our three year old loves to help dad and they are the best durability testers sometimes!

The first thing I checked was to see if the level was straight and true on the leveling surfaces and it was. It is accurate and reads correctly on both sides and when checking plum up and down.I used it to check the patio door and adjust the rollers on the slide. I also checked the patio door frame to see if it needed any adjustment. This level have to say it is very light on weight making it easy to manage without loosing proper level. The material since to be strong enough to prevent any bending and loosing straight line leveling. The measuring ruler added to the side comes out very handy as becomes 2 tools in one helping to measure a line of sight. The bevels are very clear and keeps accuracy. The ends are sharp but not sure how well shaped the ends will be with continues use.

I love this level by Stanley. It is perfect for on the job or for projects around the home. This is 48 inches long and so easy to use. The best part is that it comes to you perfectly without having to re-calibrate the level. The level is lightweight and perfect for those long jobs that need a lot of leveling. I am in love with how it doesn’t markup on any surfaces. I used this to level for my porch renovation. I moved it around a lot on already painted items and I had no scratches. I unfortunately did drop mine and it still worked thanks to the shock absorption. This is a very easy read level and has large numbers for easy seeing. This has measurements right on the level making it easier for your jobs . Definitely a recommendation from me!
Great level for my use. I used it to level a table i use outside for painting, working on things, that sort of stuff. It has plenty of places for holes handholds so you have more options. The ruler on the bottom will be good for hanging pictures and shelves. Lightweight so it's easy for me to use.

I have purchased 8-10 levels over the last 40 years; I wish that this Stanley ABS I-Beam Level had been one of my earlier purchases. Here's why: (1) It is light weight and easy to carry and use; (2) the bright yellow coloring stands out and makes it easy to spot when I'm looking for it (just try finding the brown, gray or black tool among all the construction or wood piles of material and tools); (3) the material from which this level is make seems to withstand all sorts of abuse I have inadvertently caused it (drops, materials falling on it, accidentally hitting it with a hammer, etc.); and (4) the level's 3 readings are easy to see and precisely reliable (I checked this level against my other levels and it was consistently on the mark). I should add that I love the rule markings on one side of the level - great idea and very useful (although I found that I would have liked to have markings on both sides, notwithstanding the opening for the level reading).Suggestions: (1) I would like to see the ability to add a snap-on or other attachable devices; for example, I was setting some tall posts for a garden enclosure, and it would have been helpful to have a clamp-on attachment for vertical on an adjacent plane of the post; (2) while the light weight is desirable for most uses, there were a couple of times I would have liked some additional weight/heft to the tool, e.g., to prevent the wind from blowing it off a mark; snap-on weights would be useful; (3) I would like a hole nearer either end to use to hang up the tool on a wall; I like to place the hook near the ceiling or close to the bottom of a shelf or cabinet; (4) for all sorts of projects it would be extremely useful to have the level fixed to the surface you are trying to plumb; for good surfaces like finished walls and woodwork, 3M adhesives would work because the tool is sufficiently light-weight, and the "tape" could go through the openings in the tool to fix it to the door, wall, cabinet, appliance, etc.; heavier-duty fixing to a post, etc. should also be available; (5) in normal use, I would expect that the level could get dinged or dented on one or both of the sides; I had to figure out how to do a tiny amount of shaving so that the level would sit flat again; somehow some instruction or other advice would have been helpful; and (6) I would add the ruler markings to have both sides available to read measurements.

Really sturdy product while still maintaining a light weight feel. Was using it while erecting a wall in the attic & it was accurate & easy to use. Dropped it few times & it was no worse for wear. I would defiantly recommend this product & look forward to using it in the future.

The size makes it handy for applications in framing and masonry, which the light weight sets it apart from its contemporaries in terms of portability. Despite the light weight, it appears to be fairly rugged, but I like it too much to subject it to any real durability tests. This level is a solid choice for projects where repeated use is necessary.
