Works fine but you have to empty the chain bar oil after each use otherwise it leaks everywhere which is a deal breaker for me, it does say this in the user manual but I was not informed of this on purchase and I would not have bought it if I knew. Their knowledge of the products they sell is below standard and would not let me return it or even upgrade?

I have used many chainsaws felling orchard redevelopments, so I have dropped a few trees in my time.Within just 30 mins of using the old petrol saws your hands have a vibrating numbness running through them, your nose is full of fumes and you are sick of wearing earmuffs. And constant mixing and refuelling with petrol. Not to mention trying to start them sometimes.I am VERY impressed with this chainsaw. It comes with a 4amp battery but is compatible with the other V20 lithium ion battery packs. The 4 amp gave me at least 30 mins of full on use before needing to be swapped out. I also had some 1.5amps from a drill pack so used those while I put the 4amp on charge. They don’t last as long but a good 15 minutes at at least. If you have a big job it pays to have a few fully charged batteries on hand and rotate through them charging them as they flatten.This is a small price to pay considering it takes just a few second to swap out the battery and you’re away again, No messy fuel mixing and refilling.The saw has just as much power compared to petrol ones I have used in this size, cutting through moderately sized tree trunks with just as much ease as a petrol powered one and its quite and doesn't vibrate like the petrol ones so much easier on the body. Instant on and as soon as you take your finder of the trigger it immediately stops. I felt much safer using this than the old petrol ones.If you have used petrol ones and then try this, you wont be disappointed!

I bought this after my petrol chainsaw gave up after 12 years. I don't require it to cut major tree growth, just up to 100mm diameter, and it does that without a problem
