Much like all of the other 1 star reviews, the button on the blade holder completely snapped the second time I went to use it. The knife is now completely inoperable and fit for the bin.

Broken within 5 minutes. The metal slider that holds the blade broke off from the slide button, its about 3mm of chinesium metal. Never actually got to put a blade in.
Much like all of the other 1 star reviews, the button on the blade holder completely snapped the second time I went to use it. The knife is now completely inoperable and fit for the bin.
I have experienced many issues with the sliding mechanism (which hasn't worked for some time). As a result it has been virtually impossible to change the blades.
Lost my trusty old Stanley knife, liked the look and feel of this one. Cut some boxes of screws and flat pack open and the tab has snapped off and the blade holder fell out. It's going straight back tomorrow.
I think it’s a good knife good replacement for the titanium knife, can be fragile from time to time but it be okay if you look after it
The slider button like other snapped off on it's second use. Really frustrated to have spent so much money thinking i was getting a quality product.
I bought one of this model Stanley late last year and was very disappointed to see the blade exchange control break after hardly any use at all I promptly took some photo's showing the knife had been hardly used and registered my complaint with Stanley hand tools Australia .Stanley Australia replied to my email almost immediately and referred it on to the support departmentCan't thank Cecil A and Cristina G enough for their faultless help
Bought this to fit some carpet tiles as my basic Stanley knife I’ve had for 25 years gives me blisters if on a flooring job as it fitted in my hand better and felt it would give me more control for delicate cuts. However this broke on the first job within 5 minutes, hook blade snagged on the carpet then the button snapped and blade came flying out! Will return to store and try a more expensive alternative
I have had one of these for the last few years and had no problems with using it at all, so when I lost it a new one of the same type was my first choice but to be safe I bought two to make sure I had what I class as a good knife.
