Pretty solid unit. Battery life has been awesome - a 4aH barely got drained as I trimmed a tall 10-15min hedge. Only two small issues, first being that you can only adjust the angle in 45 degree increments, and it isnt the lightest unit in the market. Otherwise its well worth the money.

I chose this as I already had tools from the Stanley Fatmax V20 range so didn't need to buy batteries and charger. It does a good job of reaching the middle of a wider hedge but it is quite heavy. My wife finds it too much for her but I am comfortable using it. The 3.4 metre capability is a bit misleading as it is difficult to use at full stretch if you can't keep one hand well up the shaft to support the weight. Overall I am happy with it but the weight could be an issue for some people.
Does the job. Relatively light. Easy to use. Battery can be used in other power tools.
It is what it says it is- does a great job in triming hedges and to trim tree branches(skinny new branches)
This is just one of those tools that I have said to myself why did I not buy this before. Makes life very easy. I have a commercial Stihl trimmer do 200 meters of hedge with that, but this gem I just go out more often and all done in 30 minutes.
the best hedge trimmer I ever brought,and as for the battery life,heck it lasts a long time and my wife keeps saying to charge it but what can you do when its still charged.Cutting my hedges is a breeze with my new hedge trimmer,thanks mitre 10 very good investment
Purchased online, click and collect from local store. Excellent price, and it was quick and easy to assemble. Have so far trimmed kowhai tree, wisteria and ivy. Unit has good reach cutting through the wisteria and ivy in single easy strokes. Also cut through the lighter foliage of the kowhai in the same way. Also easily nibbled through slightly heavy branches about thumb thickness. I considered the good price when rating the quality of this product.
I bought fatmax powe tools as i was told more tools would be made available later.Instead, they changed the battery coupling and expect you to buy an adaptor.I might as well buy Ryobi, as they keep the battery platform consistent.
