After owning & using for a good 4 plus months it does do what it's supposed to. Keep away from wet & damp areas because it cuts out alot if you do. Be aware of the secondary button needed to keep the trimmer running it is a downpoint in my opinion. & clean it thoroughly when finished using to prevent buildup after use. avaerage at best.

I love how it’s easy to use. Ideal for woman and the kids who want to help out. Instant start- & cord is fed through. And even that is easy to thread when you need to.The only thing I recommend is buying an extra battery pack if you have long & heaps of grass. So you can alternate between the two. My battery lasts abt 30mins of consistent weedeating at a time- not ideal when you have a huuuuge section to clear.Recommend this product tho- espesh with my recommendation x

Second summer on a large section for this machine. Does very well on our overgrown grasses, but auto feed not working now, so that's annoying. Head also needs replacing every year, the holes the line comes out ofloses its grommets. We work it hard though!

Very impressive, I was skeptical about purchasing a battery operated trimmer but this one definitely exceeds my expectations.It is very easy to use, nice and light and puts out just as much power as a petrol one without having to worry about two stroke mix refills and the annoying pull starts.So pleased with my purchase and highly recommend.
Great price, great little machine. Managed our 820sqm section on not even one full battery. I purchased a second as was concerned it wouldnt get the job done one one. Hubby was most impressed with his birthday present.
From click to pick up a satisfying experience and product. Easy to use and does the job I wanted it to do. I have quite a difficult section to maintain, so battery doesn't quite get there, but looking to get a back up battery. Happy with price and product.
Purchased this today for my home which has quite a large section and had to return it. Had to return it as it's definitely made for very little maintenance. So if you have a small front/back yard then this is for you.
Bought about a month ago, easy assemble and fine for the very small strip of grass I have to maintain.It’s quite bulky, plastic, and heavier than I expected it to be. Still haven’t worked out the odd lock system it has (I’ll admit user error though the instructions aren’t helpful).Chose this because it included the battery and battery charge pack (many others don’t) but actually overall I don’t think it was worth so much and wouldn’t buy it again.
SFM - Name sounds promising. Design Aesthetics - appealing. "Reviews" suggested it was packed with power. The Salesman reiterated as much, yet sadly I personally found it somewhat awkward, the 1.6 string, is not really capable of cutting grass similar to daisies (reasonably delicate). Also there is only 1 string on the spool, meaning - necessarily you need to pass many times before it appears to be 'clean shaven/low cut). I only bought it late yesterday, Sadly i must necessarily return it for a Refund. Very disappointing.Sorry Stanley Fatmax V20. Definitely not for me.
Thought I needed to replace my old petrol line trimmer with another petrol line trimmer but wait....NO! this thing is awesome...Plug N Play people! My wife bought the Stanley FATMAX hedge trimmer skin and stole the battery from me after I'd been round the property and I did the property again the next week without having to recharge! It finally lost power at the end of the second time round. Very impressed.
