Stanley Rogers - Lightweight Cast Iron Cook's Pan 30cm

So happy I purchased this wok / pan to replace old teflon coated pans. Solid construction, yet lighter than traditional cast iron. I use mine on the BBQ to cook stirfry, risotto/paella, casseroles. I bought a universal glass lid from another retail store to fit. Cant wait to try it out on gastop and induction when I get the chance.

A good buy

I've only used this product a few times and am happy thus far. It's the type of pan that improves with age and usage so this review may be a tad premature. Having said that,the price paid was terrific value for a good quality item and then throw in free delivery to a regional area makes for a very satisfied customer.

A great kitchen investment

The fry pan is wonderful to use. As any cast iron purchased I did a couple of seasonings on the stovetop. So my first meal was a lamb ragu to test, his pan is so slick and didn't stick at all, effortlessly stiring the food. Only advice it to use high heat oil like coconut oil as I stained the middle with olive oil. It does go dull black from the polished look, but that is the nonstick seasoning being added. I find with this pan as I'm used to heavy cast iron is you don't need much heat, an energy saver. Handles don't get hot at all during cooking. And the weight makes this pan more versatile. Happy with purchase.

Excellent Cast Iron Pan

I have several cast iron pieces and this has quickly become my go to favourite. Seasoned well, light weight. Would love to have this in slightly larger size; while 30cm, the curved sides to narrow the capacity slightly.Tired of non-stick cookware and replacing every 2 or so years despite paying top dollar for Swiss Diamond, Esteele, Raco etc and have been in the hunt for good quality carbon steel or cast iron cookware. Very pleased with this; would love a matching lid.

Great first cast iron pan

My first cast iron pan, it's really light so I can hang it up with my other pans, but it produces really even heat. It wasn't too hard to season (comes with instructions which I appreciated) and easy to clean. I love it. Looking forward to using it in the oven too.

This frypan is brilliant, loved the size. Have used it in the oven, frying and cooking on an induction stovetop. Cleans easily once you've seasoned it well. Highly recommended

Seems v. well built, esp considering the modest price. The proof will lie in its longevity.

Light weight cast iron pan

I like the light weight, it's easier for me to handle. The heat is more even than non stick pan but found lots of black powder coming off the bottom when cleaning it.

Nice cast iron pan

Nice to cook in, not heavy like traditional cast iron pan l, but the handle’s definitely heat up so beware, I oil it lightly after use too. Bought at half price 👍🏽

Value for money

It's perfect. It really is lightweight compared to the more expensive cast irons pans in the market. It's practical to use for cooking your favourite meals because it's low maintenance and the size is just right. I would recommend it to anyone whose looking for quality lightweight cast iron pans.
