This in my opinion is the best Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker action figure in 1/12 scale that Hasbro has made in their black series line to date. I bought it because the head sculpt is most accurate to Luke Skywalker's face. I also like that it comes with soft goods (his cape), and his light saber is more stockier and sturdier compared to previous light sabers. If there is any room for improvement, I wish he came with more accessories like extra pair of hands. I also wish his cap is wired. But other than that, it's a perfect figure. I highly recommend it to any Star Wars fans out there.

Had I known you guys stopped doing window boxes I never would have ordered this. Such trash. I’d return it if I could. The last figure I bought was a Darth Maul and that had a window box such a horrible design choice. I’m canceling all my other preorders now due to this garbage.

Fantastic likeness of the version of Luke from the Mandalorian! Love the details on his Jedi attire and saber. So glad to add him to my collection and looking forward to the next figure featuring Luke and Grogu at Ossus!

As a main character of the original trilogy and his re-appearance in The Mandalorian, and BOBF streaming series on D+, I really would have liked this figure to be visible through plastic packaging, as an in box display/collector. So I can only give it an overly generous 4 stars since I won't open the box to review it, and damage whatever $$ value these "no plastic" packed figures are still worth, if anyone even wants them boxed like this anymore, if/when unopened. Such a waste of an excellent figure without the plastic window and insert in the display box.
Please bring back the packaging where the figure is displayed. This was a terrible business idea. 1/2 your clients prefer the figure to be viewable in the box. I suspect you will loose massive revenues and hope this won’t deter future product lines as a result.
The figure is decent, however, what isn't decent is the price. I'm an in-box collector, which means hasbro charges me 25% more so that I can display my figures in some nice Kenner-designed packaging instead of the garbage lazy boxes Hasbro designed themselves. Yet, somehow, employing the better ideas of another company and not having to R&D their own packaging means it costs more? Am I missing something? These guys are the same people who tried to pass off a piece of cardboard and a handful of white chunks of plastic as a Haslab stretch goal, and tried to put a single tiny creature from the creature pack in a cardback and call that a haslab stretch goal. Maybe the figure would be worth the price if they included some of whatever they're smoking at hasbro on ... MoreThe figure is decent, however, what isn't decent is the price. Maybe the figure would be worth the price if they included some of whatever they're smoking at hasbro on top.Kenner managed to provide good looking packaging without adding 25% to the cost. You took their work, added nothing and charged 25% more for the privilege of people able to display it in something other than a lazy bland box. Do better, we aren't as dumb as you seem to think (which is why your haslab failed even though the Rancor was good).
So the actual figure looks great. The packaging wasn't all that and would of been nicer if it opened up to a window view of the figure. The hood on the cloak is my biggest gripe. That one pic they use on here is misleading. The pic on the box is more accurate. I've had to do some trimming on mine. I'm gonna try and wet is down to see if it will relax any.
Though I LIKE this figure, when I compare and contrast it to the SH Figuarts version I got about a year ago, the difference is night and day.I don't mind the cloth goods, but look at the great face on your Bespin Luke of recent, and there's the key! Adjust the hair sculpt to fit that of this Luke (perhaps just enlarge the current one), and you've got a 5-star rating from me, as well as many others.Cheers.
I collect these figures and do not open them. Up until recently, it was easy to display the figure collection in a way that showed the figures inside because the packaging had clear, plastic windows. Now, there is no plastic used on the packaging and no way to see the figure unless the box is opened. As a boxed collector, this is incredibly disappointing. I have been a fan of the Black Series for years but will not be ordering or pre-ordering any more if I cannot see the figure inside the box without opening it. It's a shame that the art is so well done too, but it does not make up for seeing the figure when displayed.
The figure was packed well and was delivered in a timely fashion. However, the item itself had a damaged cardback; it was creased, and had a noticeable impact spot on the side. When an item is made exclusive, and I have no alternate spot from which to purchase, the item needs to be in at least acceptable condition; just out of respect for the in-package collector.
