So he was like “what color?” And I said “if you have pink??” And he gave it to me. As I was unwrapping it and chewing a student came out of the darkroom with a print asking my opinion. And I’m still chewing the starburst and excused myself for that to him but was confused because the WHOLE image was blurred. And I was like, “which assignment is this for?” He says “minimum depth of field”. In my head I’m like, is this kid serious?? And I asked him how it fits the criteria. He points at 1 part “that is sharp and the rest is blurry”. I was still chewing the starburst and say “this looks sharp to you?” he says “yes!” So I go “listen, nothing in this image is sharp” he actually tried arguing it with me. And I say “look, we will show the teacher when she comes out and I’m pretty sure she will agree with me” he still kept trying to convince me that there was anything sharp in that image so unfortunately I got the point that I couldn’t help but laugh (not AT him, but just because it felt so silly) and I had started to swallow the starburst. As I’m laughing the starburst gets caught in my throat I COULD NOT BREATHE. Most of the class was in that room with me as I start gasping for air, one girl got up ran shouted nurse (which I will never forget her for doing that) and a good minute I’m standing there gasping for air, not sure why none of the kids thought to get the teacher who was in the darkroom totally unaware of what was happening and I’m thinking “this is how I’m gonna die, in front of a class of high school kids from choking on a starburst?!?!” I see my water bottle and tried to drink it some went down thank goodness I did that because it must’ve moistened the starburst so it moved enough and a few seconds later I finally swallowed it and could breathe. The nurse and student come in she made me sit down was taking my blood pressure (I told her it finally went down). As she’s checking my throat the teacher comes out of the darkroom and asks “what the heck is going on?!???” And I was so beyond embarrassed plus even just a minute of gasping for air with a blockage, hurts your throat like hell so talking hurt so the girl who got the nurse told her and she looks at the class and asks “why didn’t anyone get me?!?” And they all just sat there and I realized they were in shock, that’s why they just sat there that whole time. So that’s the starburst story. I do eat them now, but very carefully if anyone is present I tell them to not make me laugh. The student who was arguing his photo which caused me to laugh wrote in my yearbook “sorry I almost made you die in class” lol

Starburst is my favourite candy,they come in different flavours and they are chewy and delicious. I used to buy them for my daughter alot to put in her Easter basket. They are not expensive but they are worth buying them and trying them out. I would recommend anyone to try them. My favourite is the yellow one because they taste like banana flavour and the red taste like cherry. Matter fact i haven't bought them in a while but i will be buying them again. The ones i used to get came in long wrapper. But i think know you can buy them in a bag and they also have different ones out that i haven't tried but i sure will be. I would recommend anyone to try these.

Awful

The item was supposed to be a bag of starburst as depicted in the photo. What I received was a few starburst wrapped in a clear plastic bag. I’m shocked that this is what I received and would absolutely never eat food received in this manner. Even the colors of the individual starburst wrappers were not normal. Extremely disappointed, would not purchase anything from this seller again.

Great candy and great pouch design!

I absolutely love starburst original chewy candy! It has been a favorite of mine since childhood. I love the assortment of flavors including strawberry, cherry, Orange and lemon. I always loved getting this candy in the stick packages, but the zip pouch makes enjoying this delicious treat even more fun! I love how the pouches easy to close with a zip that works well and I can look inside the bag and see the candy assortment before making a choice. In my house, each of my family members have their own favorites so I'm mixed assortment that's easy to say works well for us. The flavors were just as I remember and very fresh. My favorite has always been the red cherry flavor. As soon as I pop the chewable candy in my mouth, it gave me a burst of flavor. I can taste the sweet flavors of cherry, orange, strawberry, and lemon. Each chewable melts in my mouth leaving me wanting for more. It is like gum only better! The candy taste like fruit juices, so soft and chewy! Yummy! Each piece candy is individually wrapped making it convenient for me to carry around in my purse. It also comes in a nice resealable pouch that hold lots of candy. Great to share with everyone!

Pinks are my fave!

I freaked when I found the all-pink bag!! I do think it's a tad subjective to write a food review, as everyone's tastes are diverse. For example, my husband loves the yellow ones which, while good, and round out the flavors to make them what they are, happen to be my least favorite! That being said we're both Millenials and we've been eating these since we were little, yet still love them just as much now! Pretty cool how we used to eat them while gaming on a cartridge in a console and now we still enjoy them while gaming in 3D online...enough said!!

STALE CANDY AT AN EXORBITANT PRICE

Although overpriced I decided to indulge in my favorite Starburst Fruit Chews. Opened the outdated package and bit into the first piece. The whole piece stuck to the roof of my mouth. It was so hardened I could barely chew it. By the time I finished the 4th piece my jaw was aching and had to take a rest. Too exhausted to reenter the store and seek a refund.

These are the regular, full size Starburst. I accidentally purchased the tiny ones previously and went back and replaced them with this. There is an assortment of colors/flavors but I was disappointed that it was not an even distribution but many more of the yellow ones that we don't really care for. One definite advantage is that the packaging is reclosable.
