This was a hard one to evaluate. It does cut the different sizes, however instead of using the plate to guide what I was cutting I used my hand instead to move the product forward. It does though cut the meat or cheese in a nice even width. It does scare me getting to close to the blade using my hand and will revert back to the guide. Fore the most part it would knock out the product though. I will admit that over time I have a feeling I will work out all the ins and outs of the machine. It is still faster then by hand and as I said it produces clean even cuts. Perhaps I should have waited until I used it more to get a more accurate review. Regardless I would purchase it again I believe.

I bought this about a month ago, and love it. It slices nicely, works smoothly, and folds up so it's not too big in storage. Love it for slicing freshly-made bread, but just used it for slicing a turkey roast, and it was perfect. Also works well on cheese. Love that you can easily change the width of the slices, and the suction cup that holds it stable on the the counter works well (wouldn't have known that that was so important until trying it without!). Not extremely durable as it would be if mostly made of metal, so I don't recommend bashing it about, but super good performance for the price.

This is a compact slicer that works fairly well. The only complaint I have is that I find it difficult to make a consistent slice thickness in that the slice starts out at the thickness I want and ends with a tapered thinner thickness. I`m not sure if it is in the set up of the blade or the user. The slicer makes consistent bread slices thin enough to make appetizers. Great value, small enough to stow away after use and very easy to clean.

I use this to slice up my ham roll and home made bread. Works great and i finally have the same consistent slices for toasting. It can be a pain to find a spot where it locks down with the suction cup tightly on the counter though. The secret is to apply very little pressure. Gentle pushing and cranking gets the job done, so fight the urge to crank it. The blade is very sharp. In fact I cut a lot of my ham up by just pushing it through the blade, until I got the hang of it.
Recently purchased it. Placed it on my island and decided to slice a precooked small ham. Tried wetting and used it on dry surface. Unfortunately the sucking cap will not hold making it quite frustrating. Any ideas are welcomed to solve this without building a board to hold and brace it to the island. Apart from that it slices quite well.
Very poor. The slicer side wall, which is supposed to hold the meat/cheese is not strudy enough, it will tilt and move and the result is an uneven cut (thin from below and thick from above). Also the slicer wont stand still, even after fixing it in place using the suction device. Finally, honestly, you will do a better job with a quality knife. Don't wast your time. I wont say your money, as its cheap. Cheap in price and cheap in quality.
I bought this slicer because of the high rating it got on other sites, and although I had my doubts, I don't now.Folds up for easy storage, and has a suction cup on the bottom to keep the unit stable while slicing.Has trouble cutting super thin slices, but overall, it's a well designed product and well worth the it at the price point.
The unit slices pepperoni and garlic sausage very well but the suction pad to hold it steady does not work at all. I tried to suction it down on 3 different kitchen surfaces and it wouldn't hold steady on any of them. Makes it very difficult to use.
Real good . Cuts fresh bread straight out of the oven. Good for slicing meats. Could use better suction to counter top.
Simple works very well took a little learning and coordination to use but not insurmountable. Cleans up easily the blade is very sharp handle with care. Great for a small or medium job, quick set up and conviient fold up tuck in storage to a compact form.
