I have not had a problem yet and it doesn't seem like I ever will. I use it to view my laptop screen on my TV for gameplay and the transfer of the picture is almost instant. Overall, I would definitely recommend this and I couldn't ask for better.

I needed one of these for the combination of monitor setups I had, but try not to bend it too much as I did trying to route it to where I wanted it. The slight bending caused the pixels on the monitor to have colors spots as if the video stream was disrupted

I use to connect my tiny HTPC to a 8" Monitor for temporary troubleshooting. Works fine without all the excess of a standard 6ft or 9ft lead!

This is a great basic HDMI cable for home of office use, or older tv's. Startech seems like a great brand too. Look for a different cable (18 gbps) if you're shopping for your 4k HDR wide color gamut theater, save this one for the laptop or 1080 tv.
Title says it all. It works. I use it to connect my PS4 to my TV. Works fantastically well! It's so slim and flexible that it's easy to tuck out of sight. Great buy!
Men are always accused of over estimating the length of something, so when I thought that I needed a short 6 inch cord, I figured that this 1 foot cord would be perfect. It would cut down on the amount of cable that I had to manage. It would help keep the desk clear of clutter and make my life better, in general. I was surprised to learn that 6" was not actually 6", and the 1ft cord was too short. This is no fault of the manufacturer. My only advice is that if you are buying a short cable, make sure you measure the distance you need first!
Where I live, it is not easy to find quality products that meets my specific needs. Local retail outlets typically sell what the majority of customers want: lowest price (generally meaning lower quality), and will stock only the higher sales volume products (meaning my specific needs [ie desired length, or desired color] are seldom met. I can accept their needs for respond to what the majority of customers required; but for customers me, where suitability for my needs and high quality is high priority, finding a reliable source for electronic products and accessories therefor becomes very important. StarTech seems to be such a source. I am very happy with my purchases; both the products and the supplier
Worked as expected. I needed short-length HDMI cables mainly for organization purposes, and because my monitor sits right on top of my PS4, so there's no need for the standard length cables. I haven't noticed any loss in image quality from my laptop to the monitor, either. One thing to look out for is, since the cable is thick and short, it is more rigid than I would like, but that might not be an issue for you.
