I love this stuff. So many uses. Works great
I'm not sure how to describe this, but... I've used really good hook & loop rolls. It feels substantial, and it's well-behaved. This stuff isn't the same. I think the biggest thing you notice is that the rolls are prickly. I suspect the difference is that they are not heat-finishing the edges. They're just cutting it from sheets, so you get hooks hanging out the sides of the roll. It works out okay, of course. It is still perfectly capable of tying up cables and myriad other tasks. But the quality is not there, and I'd really hoped that StarTech's name meant I could expect to find the good stuff here.
The only issue is that it is quite a bit thicker and less flexible than others.
This Hook-and-Loop cable management material is very handy for many projects.
This hook and loop tape is thicker than most, and here's why: it's made up of loop tape and hook tape, laminated together with adhesive. They delaminate in heat and sun.
Used these for managing network cabling. They worked very well, we have used StarTech Hook and Loop for many years and will continue to do so.
