Surprisingly, I use these mini cocottes (I have many) almost weekly. I use these to individual side dishes. I have also used them to serve all kind of sides for a chili bar during football season. The heat capability of this mini cocotte is amazing - heats up quickly and evenly, also stays hot for throughout your meal.

I love using these for individual servings of home made loaves, breads or desserts. But, they have so many uses. Often times, I keep one on the stove filled with sea salt and one for sugar, so easy to grab. Used as individual serving pieces make them so special.

Who doesn't love their own individual serving pot! These make every occasion special. Nice even cooking and cast iron keeps food at the perfect serving temperature. Use for desserts, appetizers, and breads. Also a great container for butter and soft cheeses. Many uses and always a nice touch when entertaining.
I have always been a fan of Staub's full size cocottes. These minis have all the same benefits. The enamel coating eliminates the need to season the cast iron and makes them easier to clean. The dark matte interior gives great browning. The lid features small bumps that helps condense and redistribute moisture while cooking. These minis are great for making individual portions of side dishes and desserts or for serving items prepared in a larger vessel.
I love all of my Staub pieces but I am OBSESSED with these minis. All of the benefits of full size Staub just in a smaller size. The enamel coating is inside and out keeping with the traditional matte interior. The braising spikes are still featured on the lid. These are full cooking versions but I like to use mine for serving and for holding my salt and pepper in the kitchen.
This a a smaller version of the dutch ovens I serve food in for dinner. I often heat extra bbq sauce in this because It can go in the oven next to the ribs and the lid keeps it from drying out.I often use it to serve warm appetizers, my favorite cooking and serving piece for my crab souffle appetizer, for 3-4 people, the crab is so rich no one eats more than a few scoops as an appetizer. If you serve it anything larger it just gets lost. This way it browns nicely on the top and presents with toast points perfectly.
