No wings means I can wear them with my fave boy shorts and not worry about the wings. Or I can wear regular undies and use the ones WITH the wings. Stay free has done a good job in my honest opinion with width for smaller sizes on their pads. Realistically, if a person who’s size 8+ told me these weren’t wide or long enough to accommodate their needs? I would 100% believe it. The cottony top layer is the selling point for me. A cotton cover in a regular maxi without the threat of Radiant Glitter being tossed out? Perfection. *Chefs kiss*. The price is fantastic too. No leaks for me during the day, or at night when I use the overnight absorbency (which I do until it’s completely gone- spotting and all).Doesn’t irritate my skin (and I am allergic to most anything with scent too btw) either.I’ve used these since I was 14 and started my cycles. I’ve gone with other brands a few time’s obviously , but when these are available I grab them. Usually 2-3 packs at a time lol. Please Stayfree, expand your offerings (maybe a ‘size 3’), and make these more widely available. I am nowhere near menopause.

Just this last period I noticed a change in the overnight 40 count. The leak guard zones were gone. The purple wrapper was adhered straight to the pad and tabs so it would sometimes crinkle to the point I had to chuck it because it wouldn’t stay in place. Im not giving a 5 star for these new ones, they get a 2 or less. They were also not as absorbent as the previous ones have been as I woke up drenched whereas on the night zone ones I could wear one pad all night 9pm-8am and it would be full but still have some room. I hope that these new none night zones are not the way that Stayfree plans to go. And I just don't feel safe.I'm probably going to have to switch to some sort of combined option. I'll go back to organic, try period underwear and tampons.I would be willing to pay $15 for the old ones again. I'm not too worried if they have PFOAs (if that's why the recipe changed), just label it honestly and try to keep them out of the top most layers. (And if it worries me then make a pfoa free variety for the lighter days)

Miss the old version

I have always been a pad user over tampons as I find them uncomfortable. I remember people saying they didn't like pads for the same reason and I could never understand why because the stayfree pads were always wonderful and I never felt like I was wearing a diaper. I would go out of my way to buy the overnight and regular for the day. I stopped getting my period for the last five years or so due to birth control but now I've stopped and am getting my period again. I had an old pack of the overnights I've been using and decided to purchase more of the stayfree as they've always been my go to. To say I was disappointed in the new pads would be an understatement. I used to be able to wear a regular pad easily 8-10 hours if I absolutely had to and now I'm literally having to pack like five in my bag because I'm almost bleeding through in an hour or two. Sleeping has been a nightmare, I'm literally putting towels down to make sure I don't have any accidents. When I'm out for the day I'm constantly feeling like I need to readjust because the adhesive is basically non existent and just moving around. In so frustrated that I now I have to go looking for new pads because this company decided to charge more and make a cheaper product.

Poor Redesigned

I have used Stayfree ultra thin overnight pads with wings for close to 30 years. Why, because that's what my mother used. I've tried other brands but never felt like they provided the same protection and comfort. I purchased a new pack a couple of days and immediately noticed it felt...different. I examined the pad thinking it may have bunched up because of poor application. Nope, the design of the pad has completely changed. The pads are much thinner than normal, almost hard. The pad has been shorten and the night guard zone now only flares out at the back so the protection I loved now causes leakage due to lost of coverage. I'm sure the company will find a way to blame COVID, but I think these companies looking for more ways to increase profit with little regard to quality. I guess it's time to start considering Diva Cup type options.

SCENTED. Yeast Infection central

Yeast infection central! It doesn’t say on the original photo that these are scented but they are. It caused a yeast infection for me in less than 48 hours. I had no clue they were scented until I was searching high and low to see what caused my infection! They reak of perfume! It don’t even say that it’s scented! It just says “odor protection” which is misleading! Scented pads and tampons are so bad for you and will cause yeast infections, urinary tract infections, etc. It is best to avoid them all together because scent is not needed! I do not know why they still add scents to pads knowing they cause infections for so many! I managed to go 5 years without any infections until using this. It was scented pads! The infections stopped once I stopped the scented feminine products! I didn’t know they were still using scents or I would have paid more attention before buying these. I thought they stopped adding scents so I got lazy and stopped reading the packaging! If you get urinary tract infections or yeast infections, stay away from any scented feminine products. The pads themselves are great in terms of functionality, fitting in underwear without being bulky, and being absorbent enough to wear overnight without worries of leaks but the scent ruined it. What a waste of a good pad! I Wish they offered this exact type of pad in unscented! Avoid at all costs!! It’s not worth it. I’ll go back to my “always” because they are not scented! There are many choices of pads with NO SCENTS. Ask any gynecologist, scented feminine products are so bad for you including the scented feminine washes. Do better Stayfree and stop causing infections for no reason!

I have been using the Stayfree Ultra Thin Overnight Pads with wings for almost 30 years now. I never had to worry about leaking at night or during the day. These new white pads have been HORRIBLE! They just don't absorb. My daughter and I have flooded the pads in a very short amount of time and it has bled out into mine and my daughter's clothing. I have had to get up and change in the middle of the night because they no longer protect like they used to. Also, the new way of wrapping constantly gets little balls of adhesive on my hands. Ick! PLEASE go back to the longer and more absorbent pads from before. They were so good and there was no reason to change them!

Why?? It wasn’t broken— why “fix” it??!

Ive been using these pads for about 20 years, everyday for both period and incontinenance. They are the only ones i loved and could use and lately the quality has certainly taken a turn for the worse. I’ll start with manufacturing issues- The new pads arent as adhesive, they slide, bend, and move during use, often become lumpy, they no longer stay in place to provide coverage. The less adhesiveness causes more leaks. They often come damaged with some kind of purple stain on them. Bring back the extra strip of plastic wrapper. These new pads stick more to skin than to actual fabric. They also ruin manicures while unwrapping them the glue sticks to hands, nails. My biggest concern is comfort level- has the formula changed?? These pads were a guarantee in my life and now a total let down. It wasnt broke, it didnt require “fixing”. Quality for women care shouldnt cut corners.
