Steadyrack Wall-mounted Fat Bike Rack

Just finished installing 4 racks on the back wall of my garage. Took me a fairly long time to install because a cement wall. Once installed they look great and save a ton of space. My only issue is that the rear tire bracket should be wider so that when you rotate the bike and put the rear tire on the outside of the bracket the tire doesn't mark up the wall. I put a piece of rigid black cardboard under each bracket so it doesn't happen.

After researching many bike racks. I’m glad we decided on these. Saves so much space!The only thing I would recommend for Steady Rack to do is make the wheel vertical support slightly wider (As in a few milimeters) to fit a 29” Maxxis - minion DHF tire for example. I a bit too snug on that tire. My other mountain bike with a different wheel/tire (27.5” Schwalbe - Nobby nic) fit perfect though.Oh and the board rack is from storeyourboard!

Somehow I didn't even realize before ordering that these things swivel. So you can put your bike on and then it can push closer to the wall. Incredible. So the two bikes I'm hanging take up way less space than I even thought.I hung two heavy Ebikes.... the Juiced Ripcurrent S which is around 70 lbs. Goes on and off just fine even though they're heavy and then they can push out of the way. Totally awesome. These things are perfect.

Works as promoted. I had a small issue as my EGI -3 ebike has fenders which scrape lightly when inserting into rack. Still works just requires alittle more pressure for tire to drop into slot. Good quality product, fast delivery. Highly recommend for saving space.

I searched online for a long time trying to find the perfect rack for my fat tire bike. Their wide handle bars, diagonal central bar, and heavy weight rule out most racks. Additionally, the only other space saving option would require them being suspended from my garage ceiling (which is too low) or requiring me to lift one bike above the other to hange on the wall.I am seriously so glad I found and purchased this rack. Not only does it solve every other issue I had, but it surprisingly takes very little space to store my two very large fat tire bikes. This was a brilliant design and much more than I would have expected.Definitely five stars or more for these!

After messing about with a number of other nonsolutions I bought a couple of Steady Fat Racks and I have to say I really, really should have done this in the first place. I am 68 with questionable shoulders. The ease of getting my bikes out of and back into the Fat Rack makes it super easy and of course once I get the bike into the Rack I can just fold it against the wall which is a great feature for my over crowded garage. It was easy to install. It is the perfect rack

The rear wheel cup for the fat rack was the size for a mountain bike. The tire would not fit so my husband had to make a wooden one. Should be an easy fix to get a fat bike tire sized cup.Also - we couldn't seem to get the mounting measurements right with provided instructions. After 3 sets of holes we just did it our own way and that worked.Absolutely love the concept and work of the rack now that it is up.

Fits Perfect

I own 3 classic version and had to swap out a classic for a mountain bike version. My daughter has a Trek Roscoe which has 2.8 tires and they fit nicely to the rack. The stabilizer that comes with it is larger and not the same as the classic as mentioned in another review. The early models may have had the smaller stabilizers but the one I purchased. I REALLY like the fact they swing close to the walls which helps with storage. You have to use the side of the stabilizer to do this.

Incredible Bike Storage Solution for Condo!! Bike Art!

I have had this for several weeks now. I bought a new condo but there is only a car port with no storage locker for any extras like bikes, SUPs, or snowboards.I decided to make everything part of a wall art piece.This bike rack is the perfect Silurian and very very robust. The swivel feature allows me to lay the bike flatter against the wall which makes my old beasts design easier to see.I made a dark accent wall that is a blackish green from Sherwin Williams called country squire. It provides a perfect backdrop since it is a matte finish and it isn’t reflecting all of the glare a light colored wall would.I also mounted the rack higher so it would swing up and over my massive Velodyne subwoofer.I was worried that it might make it hard to get my bike up ... MoreI have had this for several weeks now. In fact it is much easier than my previous two tier oak horizontal rack once the bike is in the rack it is solid and does not move around. My previous rack allowed the front wheel to rotate and the tires to scuff the walls. Zero scuff marks possible with this rack.Like I said I couldn’t be happier and will be installing 5 of these in my sisters garage in the next few weeks while I try to organize her garage so things aren’t hogging up valuable garage floor space.The ability to swivel these racks so the bikes are further out of the way is fantastic. And the ability to simply walk the bike into the rack gives on so much ease and control which will be vital since she is rather tiny.
