Happy with the purchase. seller answered my question very fast and promptly. I am asking about the product warranty, whether it is any? seller answered yes, 2 yrs from manufacturer. we do not need to register online, but we need to keep a photocopy of our purchases invoice from lazada. iron head itself quite light compared with Philips steam iron. so ironing before so breeze now. what i like about this steam generator, the water dispenser can be pull-out easily to top up the water. it can last long. no water leakages. indeed, a realible seller tumbs up for them. Thank you, seller, for your free gift ...ext cord.

Our first steam generator iron and we’re glad we got it after receiving friend’s recommendation! ironing is a breeze now! creased that room forever and still can’t be removed can not easily be removed with the high steam! saved us lots of time and hassle. \n\nnote that you have to get ironing board that works for steam generator - which is not cheap :(

Portability:a little bulkyPerformance:excellentThe whole package is a lil bulky. Will need a XL ironing board to fit the water storage base and the the iron. But it's an excellent product. True to ad, really no hassle of having to adjust temperature and such, and really doesn't burn the material. Really great gift for elderly parents if worried they might not have good eyesight to adjust temp scale etc.

Value For Money:worth it during saleBest Feature(s):lightweight, smooth platePerformance:goodfirst time trying steam generator iron. i love that it’s light and plate is smooth for easy ironing. steam function is average, still couldn’t straighten out creases on my linen shirt, so for that the performance is comparable to my previous philips steam iron that was slightly cheaper than this. the iron also can’t be rested upright.. so for me that takes getting used to.the base didn’t fit on my regular ironing board. take note for those who don’t have a nearby surface to place it.
I should have gotten this earlier! It saves up so much time ironing my pile of clothes! For my previous iron, I would only be able to iron for 1-2 minutes before the iron went into “water boiling” mode and I had to wait. It was frustrating because the bulk of the time was spent waiting and waiting. But my new Philips iron is a total game changer! I no longer have to top up water and I simply have to wait for only 2 minutes at the beginning and the steam function will always be ready for me. Besides that, I do not need to adjust the temperature for different materials. How convenient!Best of all, no more manually pressing the decalc button continuously whole shaking my iron; this magic iron auto decalc at the push of a button and even comes with a convenient ... MoreI should have gotten this earlier! This is the second unit with the same problem. When I turn it on it does not heat up and the lights flash Orange - Blue - Off and then repeats. The blue light on the handle, indicating that it is heating up, does not come on.If I turn the unit off at the powerpoint and on again, it will normally work for that instance. The first unit, on Philips directive, I took or repair twice. That did not resolve the problem, so I returned it for a replacement. The second unit has the same problem after 6 months. Now Philips tells me it is not a fault that the iron does not heat up. The say it is a feature that it will not heat up because the iron is too cold, below 20c. So Philips say I should warm up the iron before iron before turning it on. Philips says that this is an undocumented feature - ie not in the user manual and no warning on the box. When it was working, it was quite good. A lack of rubber feat on the bottom of the main unit was very annoying as it would slide.I say - I am buying another brand now.Very poor quality product and very poor customer service from Philips.
I purchased this item in April 2022 and in May 2023 the item stopped creating steam and made a loud ticking noise. I contacted the company I purchased it from and and was advised that it is a repair warranty. It will take 4 weeks for the item to be assessed and repaired (subject to parts). Given the cost of the product it seems more expensive to go through the process of repairing the items including transport. Doesn't seem to be a very customer focused outcome and would make me question buying a Philips product into the future.I tried to talk to Phillips about the item and process and apparently they are too busy to talk to me (probably dealing with similar issues from other customers). All the customer service staff are off shore.
I am a young single woman and this is not good enough me. I don't even iron that much, but I like pressed look. It's not really powerful enough to iron 100% Cotton denim (talking about the real workers denim. It keeps choking and spitting scale buildup since the first time I used it. Literally first time. It stains black clothes with the scale, so gotta be careful. I know water in London is hard, but come on? Do I have to clean this machine each time? Also, like others mentioned, it steams more after you stop pressing. It really takes finesse and experience with this thing. I don't use it for anything I am not afraid to damage.
Purchased this iron to replace a previous Phillips model that we were very happy with for many years but had finally stopped producing steam. On first use of this iron the base unit containing the water flew off the worktop and smashed on the floor. On closer examination the rubber feet were missing from the base, so the bare plastic feet offered no resistance/friction to the work surface. Just the weight of the steam hose was enough to pull it off the worktop without any force being applied. It's either a design flaw or the unit supplied wasn't correctly assembled. The old unit it's replacing has the expected rubber feet.
Pleased with the overall ironing experience. My previous Philips Steam Generator used a filter, much to my annoyance Philips discontinued the filter: this product has no filter. Why not 5 star? A couple of minor points.1, iron feels a bit insecure on the stand, you have to be sure you place it in the precise position. 2, issues a lot of steam when lifting away from garment, but that may be the way I am using it.All in all it does the job very well.
