These lights are epic, Have in the past used Fyrlite and Lightforce and can say that Stedi X-pro surpass them. Easy to fit using the Suzuki Jimny Piggy back cable and Toyota Stedi Switch. Comes with everything you need in the box including the harness, Cable ties and bolts, where other brands are extra. Liam at Stedi talk me into the X Pro and am glad he did. The concern for me was whether there would enough spread off the side of the road as normally only purchase wide or spread beams, I can say yes there is and the pencil beams are large in size as well giving great view of whats seems one+ klms down the road. Road sign flare back is no worse than any other brand I have used possibly even a little better. Great lights, easy to install except for penetrating through a gromit in the fire wall. Half a days jobs installing in a Gu/Y61 Patrol. I wish the accompanying switch was better suited to most cabins. You can buy better ones online, but the standard one in the box is a bit ordinary. A lot of effort goss is to the box and packaging, Apple-esk

Poor design at the rear that holds the nuts in place. The slot at the rear that holds the nuts from rotating are too big so the nut will eventually spin around, therefore chipping off the powdercoating which leads to little pieces of powdercoat getting stuck in the thread which causes the bolt to bind up. No amount of WD40 nor wedging the nut to stop it spinning would remove the bolt. Eventually the bolt head got stripped and I had to use a grinder to cut the bolt, remove the light and then use the grinder again to cut the remaining section of bolt stuck in the nut so I could reinstall the bloody thing!Poor design and / or poor quality control.A much better idea would be to have a larger slot at the back so you can use a spanner to adjust the nut!
I have purchased and installed 2 pairs of these now on 2 separate cars. The packaging is unlike anything i have ever seen before, extremely high quality and extremely neat and well protected. The wiring harness comes fully assembled and the T connection into the existing headlights is so easy. My small negative would be that the standard light switch is not that nice, but it would be hard for them to include a push switch to suit every car type. Would recommend purchasing a separate push switch with this to make for a super neat install.Light quality is absolutely excellent, even after being on the car for nearly 2 years in Pilbara sun (i never put the covers back on) the lenses are still great!

I have always been a big fan of Lightforce spotlights & when I took delivered of our new Landcruiser Tray back I was looking at the Lightforce HTX2 Led lights. That was until I saw the video on utube of Stedi Type-X Pro Led VS Lightforce HTX2 Led, wow Stedi are far a more superior light, we purchased 3 Type-X Pro Led driving Lights & a Pro 28.2" 40 Led Light Bar for the front of the vehicle. Considering the amount of night driving we do, the more light the better. These lights are so impressive with the intensity & range it's really hard to believe until you see them yourself. Money well spent for such a superior product & could only recommend people interested in purchasing spotlights to look at the video on utube as we did. I excitedly purchased a set of spot lights too put onto my car. When received I changed the colour rings over and noticed 3 grub screws stripped very easily. I contacted stedi and they notified me it was a common occurrence and they provided extra just in case. Later on I installed the lights on my car and once again a nut and bolt stripped too the inside of the light hob. Once again notified them and they accused me of using power tools and over tightening the bolt. I hand tightened it. It stripped half way through tightening (still loose) and used lubrications. And from a plumber that uses hand tools all day I’ve never had this before. They were not willing to take action and sent back the same light that is now unusable saying it’s not their problem. Water proof, good warrenty, and decent wiring.As for light performance they are the best I’ve ever seen hands down.Build quality is amazing. Attractive and sleek in design.My girlfriend called them sexy which made me smile.Practicality and performance mean everything to me, but she is right, these lights look nice. Packaging was fantastic and so were the Stedi team when I called.Another clincher for me was seeing them on expensive vehicles; which tells a lot imo. Did plenty of Google research and learnt the difference between Lums and Watts and ended up buying a pair of Stedi X Pro LED Driving Lights. The harness connectors didn't fit the Disco lamps, but pliers and simple connectors fixed that problem. Got up at "oh dark hundred" on Sunday morning to test them out and once clear of all traffic out of town a bit I flicked them on. The beams pounded into a white reflective "go this way / go that way" sign, and bounced back so fierce I was reaching for my sunnies. Note to self, don't turn the lights on this side of reflective signs. Further down the road I had another go.
