PC gaming hasn't made use of game pads much unless you do a lot on steam, so never had much reason to upgrade until I finally got myself GTA5.The difference between the two controllers is literally night and day. This feels heavy and solid in the hand, but not tiring to hold. The buttons are all responsive even with the wireless connection. The trigger buttons use Hall Effect magnetic sensors which give them much more precise input than traditional triggers, something my old pad didn't have. Playing GTA5, I can actually accelerate without burning the tires off and I can even drive at a specific speed without having to let off the trigger. Same with braking, no more squealing tires when slowing down (unless you mash the button). The Forward/Start and Back/Select buttons are recessed into the pad, it would have been nice if they were up a bit higher, I find myself hunting for them occasionally. The wireless connection was easy to set up with the included dongle. The unit will connect to your PC via bluetooth, but it may not see it there or in my case, it treats it like a normal game pad, you loose the nice trigger buttons. However, battery life is doubled with the wireless connection as compared to bluetooth, so us PC gamers can sit back and relax with 42 hours of game play. There is also a neat little button to press to see how much battery life you have. Still finding you're running out of juice? Just plug the included USB cable in to charge while you're playing. The game pad also turns itself off after a few minutes of non-use and is easily reconnected with the press of the home button or thumb buttons. This will not work with iOS devices, I already knew this going into it, but still would have been nice to have the option. It is supposed to connect to Android (I don't own one myself, so I can't test it) and they are pushing use for Fortnite really hard. Some other reviews I have read says they couldn't use it in Fortnite, but again I cannot verify this myself.I knocked one star for two reasons. First reason is NO RUMBLE. Even if not HD rumble, this is 2019, there is no reason a controller like this should not at least have rumble. The second reason I knocked a star is for the player select LEDS on the top. The controller is supposed to show what player you are by one of four LEDs, but since I have gotten this controller, it refuses to do that and just constantly blinks all four LEDs as if it's not connected. I remember something similar with 360 controllers on the 360 itself, but for the price of this controller, that is unacceptable. The Steelseries website doesn't even seem to have this controller listed when you go to look for help/trouble issues, so no firmware updates. I have watched review videos and even they seem to have the same issue.Overall, I'm still happy with this purchase as I was expecting to pay about the same amount for an older 360 controller and the separate USB dongle, but this at least has the updated trigger buttons and really long battery life. One thing I did notice that is sort of amusing are the ABXY buttons, while labled, are not colored in. Instead they are all black with a slight raised impression of the letter with a very small dab of what color the button should be next to the button. Not sure why they didn't just color them in or even make them light up.

It is an excellent controller for the price. There have been occasions where the controller will stick on certain games while moving forward. But, it is only temporary and lasts only a fraction of a second. Then you are back to playing. Response time is excellent on all buttons, triggers and plus pad. If you are looking for a tough controller that responds well. I would say this will do the job. It feels great in your hands and not too bulky. The charging on the controller is a little slow once charged it will last for up to 8 hours of game play. If you are looking for a budget controller that will take the abuse and has long battery life give this one a try.

I would recommend using keyboard and mouse for most games. However, if you are wanting a controller for you PC, I do NOT recommend this. It needs a supportive software to assist in connecting with a PC. It continuously changes to player 2 and there is no way to convert it back to player 1 unless you restart your PC. When your controller is labeled as player 2, you lose basic functions that are needed as a player 1. You can't start games, control settings, etc... You will also need to purchase a silicon skin b/c the grips and sticks are slippery. I had this controller connected to my PC wired and wirelessly and I continued to have all my issues stated above. If you are wanting a PC gaming controller, then just buy an XBOX controller. XBOX controllers are all compatible with PC and all windows based PC's have an XBOX accessories app for easy connectivity. I highly recommend the XBOX Series 2 Elite.

As it says in the flavor text, gaming controller for windows, Android, and select VR headsets. I'm not sure about the VR stuff because I'm not really into that. The others I can vouch for though, and then some.I originally got this because I needed something to play black desert mobile with. So for value of this 59.99 product you do get an Android controller like they say. You also get a device that compatible with these other services/devices too. Nintendo Switch, Amazon Luna, Google Stadia, and other devices cable of recognizing the Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz dongle. As for quality, it doesn't feel as premium as a Pro controller or Dual Shock 4 but at the end of the day I really don't care its the functionality that I care about. With all the devices it can connect to I even bought a second one.The only issues I have so far is random disconnects in Paladins for steam in Big Picture mode. I think it's probably user error though. The switching of the buttons compared to the Switch because this registers as an X Box controller most of the time.If you need an extra controller for ANYTHING give this one a try.
I was hoping to use this in tandem with my PC and my IPad but this model DOESN’T WORK WITH IPAD.That being said it’s a pretty decent controller. It lack the feel of an Xbox official controller and the analog sticks mimic a Sony style controller instead of the traditional xbox style offset analogs which can lead to some flubbs while playing certain games. This controller seems more suited for casual gaming instead of intense gameplay sessions in a way that’s hard to describe.I couldn’t find a good reason to recommend this brand over others considering this one costs the same or more than more traditional controllers. Maybe if the traditional style isn’t for you or you want more of a Sony style analog stick experience.
I have had this controller for a while. It is a very good controller and the build qualilty is nice. I have recently started to notice a little bit of a stick drift but I have also had the controller for about a year or 2 now and from what I understand these things are common with any controller. It does not have any vibration support so if that is something you desire I would recommend looking elsewhere. The battery life is stellar and there is zero lag when playing games (typical for SS). I personally like the layout where the 2 sticks are side-by-side it mimics the PS and switch controllers better. It does have both USB and BT compatibility which is nice if you plan to swap between PC and phone.
I wanted something simple, something i could take home and use right of the box. Something that felt comfortable in my hands, something I could use for a variety of games and I wanted something that will last. The Stratus Duo is all of that and more. I honestly did not even need to read the instructions. I simply unboxed and powered on and it was ready to play. This controller fits snug in my hands,, not to small not too big. I wear size L/XL gloves so if you have smaller hands this might or might not be the right fit for you.. This controller is solid, I have dropped it a few times and no issues. Grabbed it with food on my hands and wiped it off with a damp clothe.. No issues. Range is great. I play up to 20 feet away from my screen and pc and no connectivity ... MoreI wanted something simple, something i could take home and use right of the box. I love this controller. I have been looking at different controllers for awhile to take a break from mouse and keyboard for a little bit. This is like the best of both worlds between a ps controller and an Xbox controller. It’s not too big or too small and I would say I have medium sized hands.I have not had any input lag or sticky keys or any issues like those. I like that it’s wireless or Bluetooth in case I want to connect it either way.The only gripe I have with it is that there is a ridge for design right along the body where the 4 buttons on the right and the directional pad on the left are located. It’s not an issue for me on the directional pad, but on the button side sometimes if I want to use the pad of my thumb to hit the button instead of the tip, that ... MoreI love this controller. Buttons feel solid, whole unit has that "well made" feel in your hand and the surface feels good on your skin. I have what might be called small hands and I can reach everything. Only one issue I've had is that sometimes the controller falls out and I have to go to settings to switch it off then on again but I have not been able to determine if this is the controller or the game, or even windows that is at fault. I play Black Desert online but I'm having a rough time figuring out what buttons BDO considers what by their labels, mostly the Function keys is what I can't figure out. Apparently bluetooth isn't available for PC only Android and the vr unit, makes me wonder why as lots of PC motherboards come with bluetooth these days however it's my impression that ... MoreButtons feel solid, whole unit has that "well made" feel in your hand and the surface feels good on your skin. Apparently bluetooth isn't available for PC only Android and the vr unit, makes me wonder why as lots of PC motherboards come with bluetooth these days however it's my impression that bluetooth may be slower response so perhaps that's the reason. I like using this for some repetitive motions in the game such as gathering, trying to get it going for ship controls still trying to figure out auto run and what might be the same as the shift key on the keyboard. The book that comes with this is sparse if they'd put a chart of what buttons might be what to what game that would probably help me get this fully working.
I purchased this controller last night. From the get go I was a bit skeptical about it.. but ended up purchasing it anyways. So I go home, open the box, plug in the adapter, pair everything. Everything is going great, smashing goals in Rocket Leage and all of sudden........."Controller Disconnected" Okay.. no problem, could be that it needed to charge.. Nope.Problem continues to happen. I rock out with it for the night. Wake up and go to play some other games with it. The thing won't even turn on at this point, so I plugged it in... Nothing.. Even plugged in my broken Xbox one Controller to see if it was the cable. That one works. Didn't drop the Controller or anything like that.
