Unit it self is fine. . Just more fittings need to be added to allow the diverter valve to fit all tap sold in Australia. I have searched everywhere for tap thread adaptors to fit this diverter and no luck .

I had one of these for a few years, after a year or longer the diverter valve started to let hot water run through the filter when not in use.Not ideal for water from the hot water system to run through your filter.After 2 years the valve completely failed with no replacement parts.

Recently bought this to replace an older water filtration device.Pros: Excellent value, better than competitors; Easy to install; Surprisingly high-quality for price; Includes extra tap-hardware & plastic wrench and NB: Industry-standard 250mm cartridge (10 micron)Con: Instruction manual is too basic — needs to be expanded or refer to website. Good enough and diagrams help. Manual omits mention of an excellent feature: uses industry-standard 250mm/10” replacement cartridges!!!The overall feel and quality of the package is excellent. Made in ROC Taiwan means high-quality but not as pricey as IMO less capable products. But 10 micron cartridge included will be fine for most people.The device works exactly as it says — easy to use. Digital display is a nice extra, let’s you know when your filter is kaput (expect 3-6 months?)The final product is awesome: clear, clean HO2!!! Very happy and would definitely recommend.

This is the above sink version of the more expensive, fitted undersink, water filters - so if you're not keen on plumbing into the sink, live in a rental or just want to save some money - this water filter is an excellent option.The tap is high enough to allow easy filling of your water bottle or kettle, and the water flows through quickly and with good pressure.It comes with a 10 micron filter, but we bought a 0.6 micron filter for High Chlorine Reduction, one of the many higher grade compatible filters, and for $26 it gives excellent quality water. Very happy with the purchase.
I opened the top to remove the cover - exactly as the instructions specify - the device stores water inside so it flooded the area when removed (so do this in a sink), the digital display isn’t water proof so it shorted out & no longer works. The filter functionality still works but I now don’t know when to change the filter. Given the design, the electronics underneath should be waterproof
Bought one 6 months ago and never had a problem with it. Simply to install.The digital display is definitely useful so you get to know when to replace the filter without any guessing. The water hood is pretty flexible to move in all directions so you can fill whatever bottle or container size you have. Highly recommended. I didn't use the included cartridge because it was a basic one, so I purchased the 0.2 microns one for about $50 and the water is so pure without any taste for 6 months now. We are a family of 4 and we consumed about 1000L during 6 months. The cartridge lasts for 4000L as per the description and the display will show you how much litres left till you replace the cartridge.
I bought one today last one left 5mins to attach running perfectly tastes fresh. Now I can save money on bottle water looks great as well very impressive machine no leaks if screwed on tight.
Makes such a difference to the taste and quality of tap water. Fairly easy to install, and easy to track when a replacement is needed- you can even sign up and get a notification when it’s due for a new filter. Great for renters like us that want to be able to take it with us when we leave and not have to plumb anything in.
We were struggling with our water supply for last couple of months, and couldn't go for undersink options as we were renting this place. Finally came to know about this. This works just amazing. Fantastic water filter. Love the fact that it can switch between filtered and regular tap water easily. Have just changed the filter for the first time and the proof was in the complete discolouration of the used filter. I have also filled a cup with filtered and non filtered and the colour and taste of the water is amazingly different, have even had people comment on how good the water tastes! Highly recommended for a reasonably priced system with filters that last ages.
