This is a cute shoe and I would totally give it 5 starts but the shoe runs REALLY SMALL. I am usually a size 8 or 8.5 and I bought a size 9 thanks to the reviews since they were saying the shoe runs small. Well, they weren’t wrong I ended up returning them since size 9 was tooo small for me and I ended up having to get a size 10, which is crazy, I NEVER WEAR SHOES SIZE 10. The other thing is, I hate returning stuff and I feel like it’s too complicated. Well Steve Madden makes returns easy and I really liked that a lot. So even though I ended up having a pair of sandals size 10 the shoes are gorgeous and lightweight and I can wear them all day!

These shoes bring me back! I owned the same pair in the 90s. The style is perfection. I've read some reviews about them stretching out. I went a 1/2 size smaller (due to only being avail in whole sizes) and would agree with the stretching out assessment - they sometimes fly off my feet unless I curl my toes and walk carefully. The reason for the 2 stars is due to a black residue that ends up on my big toes every single time I wear them. There must be something on the inside fabric that rubs off onto my toe nails. Unfortunately, the only thing that gets the black scuffs off is rubbing alcohol and a lot of elbow grease. This is extremely inconvenient especially during pedicure / summer season. Last year I was in a car accident that shattered my ankle and broke my tibia/fibula. I have so much metal in my foot and ankle, including a metal plate in my foot. This plate has made me unable to wear flip flops (which is all I would wear prior) I never thought I’d be able to wear flip flops again but I found these. The arch in these makes it so easy and comfy to walk. I could walk long distances in these shoes! The only con is these make a very loud flopping noise when you walk but personally I don’t care. So many of my friends bought these after I recommended and they also love them!

I’m very disappointed with these shoes. I wear a US 8-8.15, if only while sizes are available I almost always wear an 8. In EU sizing I am ALWAYS a 39. So I ordered an 8 since these only come in while sizes. The shoes that arrive are an EU 38. Of course when I try these on, they are too small. If SM offered accurate sizing and offered a 38 or 39, instead of an incorrectly converted 8 and 9, I could have just ordered the 39 and gotten a pair of shoes that actually fit.I’m especially disappointed because these sold out in the 9 shortly thereafter, so I wasn’t able to exchange for the correct size and had to pay for a return, even though the incorrect sizing was SM’s fault.And, I’m especially disappointed because these shoes are absolutely great. I received 2 of the same horrible quality Slinky 30s that had the name spelled “Slynky” on the upper elastic and “made in Mexico”! The 1st pair I received & called SM to let them know & they returned & replaced them with another pair of the same exact ones! There is no cushioning & the glue is oozing off the sides! Called again & they do not seem concerned that they are outsourcing products that are worse quality than Wal-Mart AND that they are spelling the name incorrectly stamped right on the product! I reported to customer service on the phone 2x and they didn’t seem to be concerned so I sent an email with no reply. Unacceptable. Ordering from Nordstrom so I can get an AUTHENTIC pair!

They are the perfect shoe as far as versatility, you can dress them up or down depending on your look. I wear them to work and out! Literally my favorite shoe ever owned. I purchased these for my trip to Europe and I would wear them all day every single day. Obviously my feet would hurt at the end of the day but I could stand and walk with these on for far much longer than some sneakers I own that are suppose to be comfortable. They made every outfit cuter and just perfect so I could be practical and walk in them all the time. I am repurchasing because I stretched them out since I wore them for almost 3 weeks walking over 5-10 miles every day but for normal wear they won’t stretch that much. SIZE UP!!!! Just size up one size and it’ll be perf
