Some carpentry involved in fitting. But, overall fairly easy to install. The inclusion of the TPR valve was welcome both cost and convenience wise. As it is an electric storage system, power usage has gone up, but for the extra cost having fairly instant hot water is worth it. Having it on a timer helps.

My main hot water heater is a long way from my kitchen sink. It would take ages for the hot water to come through and then not really be hot enough for cleaning greasy dishes. This unit fixed all that. Instant hot water (60 degrees) as needed. 20 litres is plenty to do a load of dishes or rinse chopping boards. Almost too hot even while wearing gloves. The unit is compact enough to fit under my sink along with an Insinkerator and all my usual under sink stuff. Great quality. Very happy

Works as described. Probably going to increase power costs, but the convenience of having instant hot water at the tap outweighs this. Have connected to timer, so this should help with running cost. Reasonably easy to install. The supply of a PTR valve was a bonus to both convenience and cost.

Just installed the Stiebel Eltron 15l unit in the kitchen and we now have instant, really hot water. This saves a huge amount of wasted water waiting for the main system feed many times every day. Installation is simple and cupboard space loss is minimal.
Great unit had to install into a position with limited space and not a huge demand for hotwater but necessary!
Sits very neatly under the kitchen bench and hot water is now instantaneous. Saves many litres of wasted water waiting for the hot to arrive.
My gas instantaneous HWS is the other side of the house from the kitchen so it would take 8 litres of water before the hot started flowing. Had the Stiebel installed under the kitchen sink and hot water is immediate. Electricity consumption to reheat is low.
