Intelligent engine management This saw uses STIHL's renowned M-Tronic fully electronic engine management technology, which takes external conditions like temperature, altitude and fuel quality into account to ensure consistent engine performance, a constant maximum speed and superb acceleration. Thanks to cold/warm start recognition, only one start position is needed on the combi lever, with the exact amount of fuel being supplied on demand. Full throttle can be applied straight away, even from a cold start. Simple, comfortable operation The MS 362 C-M is easy to start, with less effort required, thanks to the ElastoStart system and decompression valve. These reduce the shock caused by the compression of the engine during starting, and minimise the amount of force necessary to pull the starter cord. The saw's chain tensioner has been positioned on the side of the machine so that you don't have to touch the sharp saw chain to access it, while tool-free filler caps for oil and fuel make opening and locking them simple. Anti-vibration technology rounds out the package by significantly reducing the vibrations at the machine's handles. Efficient, powerful & durable The STIHL 2-MIX engine in this machine ensures up to 20 percent less fuel consumption and up to 50 percent emissions reduction compared to the same power STIHL 2-stroke engines without 2-MIX. The Ematic chain lubrication system works to ensure pinpoint lubrication of the saw chain links and guide bar rails. It can offer maximum lubrication and longer wear, as well as saving up to 50 percent on oil consumption.
