Very lightweight and rugged hammer an excellent addition to my tools

So light to hold and carry on my tool belt, but still as powerful as my estwing to strike with

This hammer is too lite for my taste. Has no hitting power. It performs very poorly when trying to drive a nail flush without leaving marks on the surface. Its nearly impossible. I had to go back to my previous hammer and i don't have any issues driving the nails flush without damaging the surface. This hammer is of very high build quality but ultimately not for me.

The stiletto trimbone is a exceptional crafted and engineered titanium trim hammer. It flows the same type of construction as the bigger brother titanium hammer. This hammer has great balance and comfortable hand grip. The hammer can easily be customized to your own personal taste with the accessories that they sell for it. You can easily change the handle grip to a different color or when the grip wears out. The head on the hammer is also easily replaceable to. Everything is held on by Allen screws which let you change the options when you desire. They is also a no-mar head covers fir the hammer so you can use it without fear of leaving marks behind.

Light Weight, Fits Into Tight Spaces, Several Extra Features

This is a well-made hammer designed for finish carpentry and is also suitable for light framing. It has a grippy replaceable handle (see photos), a replaceable striking face (see photos), and there are optional soft strike plastic mallet heads (see photos). It also has a VERY effective side mounted nail puller (it easily pulled 10d5HDG thick 3” framing nails, see photo) and a magnetic nail starter (worked first try and every try). While the steel hammer is designed for heavier duty work, when driving the large framing nails, they were both about equally effective.2. Comparing it to a traditional wooden handle, steel-head hammer, both weigh 1lb 6oz, the traditional hammer’s balance point is at the junction with the head while the Trimbone’s balance is about 3” below the head. For driving heavier nails into older dry wood, I preferred the traditional hammer with the weight mostly at the head. With it, I could more quickly drive big nails than with the Trimbone. I did not notice a significant difference in rebound between the two hammers. To be fair: 1. The Trimbone was not designed for large framing nails and 2. I’ve been using the same traditional hammer since I was a kid and know it’s balance and swing much better than the Trimbone.Conclusion: This hammer is not designed as an “do everything” hammer. It seems best suited for finish carpentry where it’s more evenly balanced design is an advantage for smaller nails and more precise work. The head design, the D shaped strike face, and the mallet caps, will also make it a better choice for finish work than many hammers. The quality and features are great.

Stiletto Trimbone Great Hammer

Weight is everything. The days of swinging a heavy framing hammer have been over for me since my first air nailer. Still need a trim and finish hammer. This is the best factory hammer out there. I have over 60 hammers (including a few custom made) acquired over 44 years and this one is LIGHT! Still has plenty of strike when needed. Build quality is flawless. I like that the side puller doesn't hang up on my hammer holder. And the changeable face is a bonus. I like my tools pristine. I own several Stilettos but this is my favorite. I bought one when the Trimbone first came out (with a custom green grip) but didn't want to mess it up on the job so I bought this one for my EDC. US Tool had the best price. Simple as that.

Very Light. Solid Grip. Easy To Swing.

Who knew a hammer could be improved? It has multiple areas to pull nails. One traditionally placed behind the head and one near the middle for harder to pull nails that need extra effort. It is incredibly light in hand. There are accessories that can modify this hammer, like nubs you can put on the head so it becomes a rubber mallet. The grip can also be changed, should it become necessary. Know the handle is not interchangeable, just changeable. These are good accessory items. I don't know if a residential user would need a hammer like this, but I sure am happy to know I have it within my tools.

Will save the arm for sure

I like this hammer it is very light. Does the job saves the arm.

I opened hammer out of box and steel head was off a little bit off. Just put back in box to return. 256 total and shipping, nothing should be off. Other than that, it felt great in hand
