I adore this chair. My MIL purchased this chair for my daughter (3) to use at her house. My daughter has been uninterested in any type of high chair or booster for a while now which has led to her wanting to leave the table early during meals. The chair was simple to assemble, my MIL and I put it together in about 15 minutes. Its completely adjustable yet sturdy. I love that accessories are available such as cushions and infant slings which creates a grow with you situation. Both my 3 year old and 1 year old love it and gravitate toward it. We havent had it long but it seems like excellent quality that i expect to last for several more children. Would totally reccomend to friends and family.

I love that this high chair can be bought in common furniture colors to match your dining room our kitchen. It blends right in with the rest of our furniture. Baby is still in the newborn set which is awesome but should be moving in to the regular high chair mode soon. The quality is super solid and stable. In my opinion it’s the best looking high chair on the market and will last multiple kids. Only downside is the tray isn’t compatible with many of the suction plates on the market (including the Tripp trapp silicone plate). After much research I found a blog that suggested the brand Miniware and those seem to work.

Don’t hesitate. This is the one.

I was hesitant to get this at first due to some of the more negative reviews I saw during my research about the straps being difficult and went with another brand. Major regret. I finally caved, after seeing how uncomfortable the other chair was for my little one, and got the Stokke. Instantly there was an improvement in posture, enthusiasm to eat, and there was no more fussing while being in the chair. The Stokke was a total game changer for our mealtimes. If you’re between this and mother chair, don’t make the same mistake I did and waste your money on something else. Just get the Stokke and you’ll be so thankful once you see it in action. Little one loves this chair. Oh, and the straps aren’t that difficult.

Good and bad
23 February 2023

This chair is well made; however, it has to be partially disassembled (loosened) for the “adjustable” slats to be removed and reinserted. The instructions just stated to insert them. Very disappointed with that. My daughters are 21 months and 8 months. Both are petite and neither can be pulled out of the chair without hurting their thighs. The seat for toddlers isn’t cut high enough for any maneuvering whatsoever. I removed the seat insert entirely for the 21-month old and will use it only without the attached seat. The 8-month old will need to continue to use another high chair that she can be pulled out of comfortably. The design on this chair is flawed - and for the price should be the high chair of high chairs. Completely dissatisfied.

Great high chair
11 September 2023

Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase. We used the ingenuity booster seat until our baby was 10 month old. Later switched to Rialto Folding Booster High Chair for outing and ikea high chair for home. However, ikea‘s is too wide. I tripped over the chair a couple times. Some complain about the suction of the food tray. To be honest, my child is extremely good at removing suction plate from any surface. We have a glass top dining table. The child simply wiggles the plate and uses her little finger to poke at the tab from the bottom to remove suction. So it really doesn’t matter how good the surface has suction. The stokke high chair is pricey but I am happy with my bundle deal purchase. I will recommend for children over 1yr old.

It’s beauty is not worth the pain

We moved and our original high chair got damaged so I splurged on this high chair after hearing so much about it. My son is 1.5 years old and HATES this high chair. Maybe it’s because he was used to a cushioned chair, but I have to say the 4 adults that take care of him dislike this chair too. Huge pro is that the chair itself looks beautiful and easy to wipe clean. Cons are that the shoulder straps are nearly impossible to adjust and we constantly battle with the straps falling behind the baby’s back and it is so hard to get them once the baby is in the chair and also the baby can easily slip out of the straps (because 4 adults struggle to adjust them). Also we all find it very difficult to release the straps from the clasp in between the legs because the clasp has ... MoreWe moved and our original high chair got damaged so I splurged on this high chair after hearing so much about it. Also we all find it very difficult to release the straps from the clasp in between the legs because the clasp has very small buttons that get stuck all the time. Finally, the plastic waist guard seems really small, my child is in the 90% percentile for height and 70% for weight. We often need 2 adults to guide his legs into the leg holes. I wish you could use the shoulder straps without the plastic waist guard! Ultimately we used this chair for 2 months and decided to retire it because the beauty was not worth the pain. Maybe a baby & family starting in the chair from day 1 would take to it more kindly.

Not for big babies
22 July 2023

Purchased this during the anniversary sale since my 1 year old son is growing out of his highchair and I thought this would be a perfect solution given that there are so many adjustable options. The Baby Set that came with this is a hard plastic (I'm not sure why I was expecting it to be more like rubber and flexible?) and requires the seat to be no more than 2 inches out from the frame - which means my colossal kid ( >99th percentile for height & weight) can’t even fit into the seat with the harness in place. The Stokke website recommends to continue using the Baby Set until the child can confidently climb into the seat on their own. So, if I can't figure out how to only use the strap/buckle on the Baby Set, I’ll likely return. Totally Worth It

We purchased this high chair for our little one when he was 1 year old and our only regret is that we didn't purchase it earlier. We initially didn't want to spend too much money on a high chair because we figured he'd grow out of it so we went with a cheaper chair that still had great reviews (Cosco). While it was and still is a fantastic chair for the occasional use when our toddler visits his grandparents, for daily use it was very frustrating to clean and took forever to wipe down. We still went back and forth a long time before purchasing the trip trapp but honestly, the trip trapp chair is worth the investment. It's easy to clean, secure, ergonomic and comfortable for the baby/toddler, and is durable. It does not chip easily (if at all), nor does it scratch easily, and even the toughest foods wipe off so easily. Trust me - if you're on the fence, go for it, you won't be disappointed. Clean up is a breeze. The tray is a great size and is also really easy to clean, despite the crevices on the under side. But of course, the beauty of the trip trapp is that it comes right up to your dinner table so you don't even need the tray, which makes clean up easier. We aren't being paid for this review nor are we receiving any sort of incentive - we just genuinely love this chair, and after doing copious amounts of research and being worried that we were investing into something that was a "fad", we want to save other parents who may be in the same boat from having to go through that.

Worth the $$$

I got this high chair during Strolleria’s first sidewalk sale, so it was on sale. However, it was still $300, but I will say it’s worth every penny. My baby is a bit smaller, 15 lbs/24” at 6 months, so the seat being adjustable is so great. She can actually put her feet on the footrest, and reach the tray. We had a 6-in-1 from Graco, but it was bulky, hard to adjust & she just was too small to even reach the tray.I also love that this chair is so versatile, from infant to toddler to child, even adult! I also love that you can buy different seat covers, which are super easy to buy.The only downside is some suction cup style plates/bowls/toys don’t always stick due to the slight texture. This doesn’t hinder the purpose of this, but something to think about!10/10 ... MoreI got this high chair during Strolleria’s first sidewalk sale, so it was on sale. best head hair even with some drawbacks

I got this when my baby was one when I realized I wanted a chair with a foot rest. We switched from the newer stokke to this one & I’m super happy. Some positives are can adjust the foot rest & it looks nice in your house. The best part is that you can pull right up to the table & your child is a part of the family. We started using real plates, forks & cups at 1 year & he seemed to adjust very quickly with minimal mess Vs a regular high chair with the tray. I got the added tray & it’s useful for messier dinners (yogurt, sauces& things that smear) to just throw in the sink or dishwasher but 99% of the time I don’t use they tray & he just eats at the table. Some people say it’s hard to clean but I don’t think so at all. It wasn’t as easy to put together as other high chairs either but not really a drawback. Even with the price being high I would 100% say it’s worth it. I feel like the foot rest helps reduce choking & adds comfort for your kid, and the design of pulling up to the table makes all the difference in positive eating habits. This high chair really hits all the needs for a mom!
