Older siblings are able to move it yet can't figure out how to unlock the wheels after you've caught them using the crib as a racecar/shopping cart down the long main foyer of your house. 5. Great place for a nap (we haven't tried him in it for long stretches but we hope to get there).Overall, happy with the Stokke mini and hope that folks who needs a space saver can get past the price point.

I was really excited to receive the Stokke crib. I had always loved the look and design of it, but wasn't sure I could justify the cost. I received this crib from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The aesthetic design of the oval crib did not disappoint. It looks adorable in my nursery and has a modern feel to it. Instead it went together and felt similar in durability to the other cheaper cribs. It was not difficult to construct, although it took longer than anticipated because I had to take it apart and put it back together a couple of times to get the construction correct. She started rolling on her side and her legs and feet would get stuck in the beams. We've purchased the extension-which does not include the mattress by the way. I was able to find the mattress for $179, much cheaper than the Stokke name brand one. The sheets are so specific so again hard to find ones that aren't $100. Obviously this is considered a luxury crib, but after all we've spend on it for my daughter sto till get stuck in the beams even after extending it-just not worth it. The canopy can only be used in the bassinet. Because it is super high quality I know that when he outgrows the mini size and graduates to the larger crib with the extenders I will have a beautiful and still very functional crib to use for years to come. The only critical feedback I have for the Stokke Sleepi Mini was I wish there was a setting where we could raise the mattress even higher for when the baby is a newborn. It doesn't work this way(!) You have to purchase the Mini version, then get an extension kit.Yes, it's a bit expensive but you get the flexibility. It is so convenient to maneuver around the house, it is smooth, quiet, and lightweight. Otherwise, you have to get some rockers/mesh beds in each room which adds up.You can find a cheaper version, see "Homary". I received a defective product a day before my newborn was discharged from the hospital. The crib didn’t have the screw-holes drilled all the way through. So, I couldn’t assemble the bed!! Emailed customer support and they weren’t helpful. I eventually received a new one, which also had a defect (this time one side of the wood wasn’t fully painted). Very poor quality control!!!!!!Lastly, the $100 canopy also came ripped lol wish I could post pics/videos.
