This game is quite the departure for returning final fantasy fans if you enjoy fast paced more action based combat then you will problay enjoy this. I thought the gameplay was fun but for me being a big JRPG fan this was just an ok experience there is not much story and the characters are all meh but I understand that the original FF didn't have the same things. I just wish Square took more time with the story and they could have done alot more with the characters overall its an ok game with combat being the highlight of this game.

I like when the prices are low and more competetive to other retailers, mainly Amazon. I miss the free 3-4 day regular shipping and do not like the $35.00 dollars or more to get free shipping. ts overly complex story and one-dimensional NPCs don't pay off until the final hours, but the freedom available in its challenging combat and extensive character customization is consistently rewarding from the start until – and after – the credits roll. It's a love letter to its own source material, filled with references and homages to the series’ history that seem designed to give fans of any Final Fantasy something to enjoy.
Its a spin off of final fantasy, plays like nioh. Don't expect turn based battles, but instead an action adventure hack n slash like nioh and ninja gaiden. There is also an added co-op mode where you can have two players join in and help you. I gave it 4 stars because the game lacks polish graphically, and the story is convoluted at best. graphics look blurry to the point it looks low as ps3 levels. gameplay is the focus so if you like nioh 1&2 you will enjoy this, the job roles is a nice idea especially when playing with other players. Music is fantastic, epic scores and it fits the theme of the game. To end this review, maybe purchase the game on sale or rent from somewhere if you are unsure and never played Nioh. The game is similar to Nioh, but in my opinion is missing some elements that Nioh has. In all fairness I would grade this game pretty high just for all the content it offers. The gameplay is very intense with so many builds you can make I'm enjoying it. I'm not going to go into story due to spoilers, but even the story has a good twist. They did a pretty good job with this one since I'm a big fan of Nioh as well.

I bought this 1 week ago, the graphics are brilliant, the gameplay and story are really too. It is a lot more indepth than previous rpg that I have found, especially the menu section and levelling up the skills, also the weapons and armour are way more better than others I have played, when u change weapon or armour it shows on the characters, which makes miles better game play. A really good game to play
I got about halfway through the game and am just terribly uninterested in continuing. The jobs take a bit getting used to, and you're better off sticking with 2 and .astering them. The characters are not likable or interesting at all. The story is just as bland and angry as the protagonist. I wouldn't recommend this game, sadly, though I love the FF titles.
