I have been using brylcreem on and off over the years. This hair cream beats it in a few ways. It has more of a hold but isn’t as greasy (though I don’t mind a little grease). It’s also thicker in texture/consistency. I use it to slick my hair back. It has some similar qualities to Suaveceto’s pomade but has more “conditioning” qualities. I’m really happy with it. Not sure if I’ll buy brylcreem again and I love that stuff! That’s how good this product is.

I’ve been using the pomade for a long time but I wanted something mild for just everyday wear. I decided to try this. It’s awesome. It actually holds great(and my hair can be pretty stubborn) and it doesn’t feel like anything is in your hair. It doesn’t get hard once it dries. Great stuff. It is definitely my new go-to. Would love to get a version that smells like the pomade though. Otherwise, amazing.

I tried this product after being a long time user of the Firm Hold and classic Suavecito polmade. I started growing my hair out about a 14 months ago. Since then my hairs grown to about shoulder length. I was really struggling with dry scalp/dandruff and getting my frizz under control. I don’t over wash it, my hair would just naturally dry out and frizz up. I have been struggling to find a product that would diminish both. If you’re like me, then look no further!! This product has a very light hold, doesn’t make your hair look greasy, and hydrates the scalp! As long as I’ve got thick long hair, the Suavecito hair cream will remain on my shelf!

I have been looking for a hair product for my straight, black native hair that I like to either style it in a crew cut or slick back. I have the water soluble pomade, which does rinse out with water. I bought the hair cream to try and find a more relaxed product, I works great for what I want, BUT it leaves an oily or waxie feeling on my fingers and hair when I try and wash it out (even with soap). I guess I am just not used to that. I noticed in the ingredients it as mineral oil and other oils. Maybe that's it. Anyways, great hold, smells great and looks awesome. - Just doesn't "simply" rinse with water.
I got this hair cream on the reccomendation of my hair cutter. I’m very happy with it. One pump is all I need. I like how readable the ingredients are and my wife thinks it good. It’s a good value. I’m a happy customer.
I love the culture that this company brings to the table and lately I have been using their products constantly. The hair cream is a life saver for me because I have long, wavy un-controllable hair. The hair cream does the trick. I usually am at work and use a cap, so it is very rare I really need to use pomade. I definitely recommend the hair cream to anyone that needs a quick hair fix when you don't need the use for pomade or whatever product you use. The scent is amazing! It gives you an old school Babershop scent.
I have wavy hair. Pomade and like products are the only thing that can control it. This hair creme has added a new level of control. I use it if I take a shower before bed to tame my hair before adding pomade the next day. It almost makes my wavy hair like it was straightened. Just enough hold and condition to make my hair feel soft but kept somewhat combed shape. The smell is mild and pleasing.
Absolutely love how it works with my hair. I have insanely thick long curly hair and it's hard to find products that work with me. I put the product in when my hair is damp and it distributes through my curls really well.My only complaint is that it doesn't go into dry hair that well. My hair just might be too thick, so it just takes way more product and it doesn't distribute well if my hair is fully dry.Having slightly damp hair seemed to yeild the best results when applying the product.
I am a male with long but fine hair. This is the best stuff for hold and no more fly aways. I really never used anything, because I couldn't find anything I liked! Trying several over the years! Really good hair product. I like it more than any clay or pomade I have ever used but I won't buy it again due to the cheap bottle it's in. The pump snapped and popped off broken after the fourth time I used it and went down my drain. So, I had to go buy new bottles to put it in. No thank you.PS: Yes, the pump nozzle was on the proper position.
