Just tried this for the first time this weekend and it works great! Really good hold on my beard. Makes it super soft.
I was a loyalist to the classic pomade and was hoping that one day the beard balm would show face…fast fwd to a shaved head and a heavy beard, I decided to check the store and see what new products were available…low and behold, the beard balm I was hoping for 6yrs ago. The Smell is on point (lasts all day) and the hold is nice (keeps strays in place) and a comb rolls through it all day with no issue … it’s s currently summertime, so we will see how it reacts with colder weather….but super happy with the texture, the classic smell and hold for my long beard. Bought two tins, both were hard as a rock. Finally figured out how to get it heated up to use. I like the fragrance, but not easy to use and work with. For guys like me with long beards, I would not recommend. Love the company too, but this product for me, not great.
Product I received is old, hard, and crumbly. No amount of massaging it in the hands to warm it up and smooth out provides a usable balm to use. Just end up with a handful of tiny hard pieces. Lousy product.

This beard balm works great and applies nicely. Unfortunately, the whiskey bar scent in the balm isn't as strong as it is in the mustache wax, but it's still top notch.
