When I first opened the bottle and smelled the product it was a pleasant fruit like scent. Not to strong but strong enough that it left my hair with a slight fruity smell after use. With the serum you have a couple of options to use it which liked as I have long naturally curly hair and I prefer to use my serums on towel dried but still slightly wet hair.
