Since starting a face care regime with sukin by recommendation of a great friend, I've noticed my skin is smoother and softer to the touch. I still have oily issues and redness on my cheeks and nose, but my usually dry chin is much better. You don't need much product, so it lasts ages! Definitely glad I started using this brand! The scent is pleasant, as well, and the scrub feels quite nice. The effect is immediate, and I can feel the difference if I've missed a few days.

I like a little grit in my facial cleanser. I don't know why but I don't feel like the cream cleansers work as well. Haha! I usually have some dry skin that needs sloughed off anyway so I gotta have that grit. This scrub feels great. It's isn't too gritty or sharp but it also doesn't dissolve in seconds. It has a neutral scent. It leaves my face feeling fresh and very clean but not dried out. I do shake it up a bit before use just to make sure it's evenly mixed.

I have had the opportunity to try out Sukin's Revitalizing Facial Scrub, thanks to Social Nature. A carbon neutral, Australian natural exfoliating scrub made with particles of bamboo extract and walnut shell powder, that removes dirt and impurities from your skin leaving it feeling clean and smooth. It contains aloe vera and chamomile to soothe your skin, and jojoba, sesame and rosehip oils to hydrate. It is suited for all skin types and contains no artificial fragrance or colours. The first time I used this scrub I actually wasn't quite sure if I was going to like it. I generally don't use facial scrubs, and the last time I used one was years ago. I was a bit hesitant to use it again, but I thought I should in case it was just a one of sort of thing. The second and following times that I used this scrub, I had a totally different experience. I used a bit more water on my fingers and faces before applying the scrub the second time around, and I think that helped to gently slough the scrubbing particles more smoothly over my skin. I am actually impressed by how smooth this product makes my skin after every time that I use it. Even after the first use, my skin felt noticeably smoother and softer. I also very much like the fact that this scrub really is fragrance free - it has no smell to it at all. This is very important for me because I am quite sensitive to scented products and fragrances in skincare products, even naturally derived ones, tend to irritate my skin. Even though this facial scrub started off with a rocky start, using it since I believe has been beneficial to my skincare routine, and I really do feel that it does a good job of leaving my skin nice, clean and clear. Due to it's effectiveness and the fact that it's naturally sourced, yes, I would recommend buying this product. #TryNatural #GotItFree #Sukin

Cap & Consistency: The cap is great-I don't like sticking my finger into pots to get out products because that can dirty the contents and create a place for bacteria. The product is the right consistency to not come out drippy or have too much come out at a time. Smell: The smell is nice and fresh, but not too extravagant. You won't be overwhelmed by it. Exfoliation Factor: Very Mild-it acts more like a moisturizing face WASH. The product itself doesn't really do well what it says it will do-exfoliate...its more of a cream than an exfoliant. I felt myself over and over again squeezing more product out of the bottle. So the amount of Walnut and Bamboo in the product is not enough for it to actually exfoliate my skin, compared to other products. It seemed diluted with aloe vera (and other ingredients)-I believe that was the first ingredient. If they had put more bamboo/walnut into this it would have done a better job I think. Recommended Use: Those who want an organic creamy FACE WASH with VERY MILD exfoliator (itty bit of exfoliation) or have sensitive skin. Otherwise you will not be happy. 3 stars because I love that its organic and doesnt have additives, the top, the smell, etc, but the product honestly just doesn't perform well compared to other facial scrubs, in my opinion.

This was my first time trying the Australian natural skincare brand Sukin. The Sukin Revitalising Facial Scrub combines micro particles of bamboo extract and ground walnut shells that exfoliate the skin removing any dirt and impurities, leaving your skin clean and refreshed. There is aloe vera and chamomile that work to soothe skin. The rose hip, jojoba and sesame replenish and protect the skin's moisture barrier. This product claims and seems like it would be suitable for all skin types. I love the natural ingredients that get your face clean and smooth without drying it out. The formula is very refreshing and has a delicate citrus scent. I love that a little bit of this product goes a long way. Overall, this is a great product and I highly suggest you trying it out. Not only is it great for your skin it is also great for the environment. All of the products produced by Sukin are Australian made with ingredients that are naturally derived, cruelty free and vegan. All formulations are 100% Carbon Neutral, biodegradable and grey water safe. These products are affordable as well. I am loving all the new high quality natural products from Australian that are becoming more well known and available in North America. I received this product complimentary for testing but all opinions are my own.

This is a high-quality product that one might expect from a luxury brand. I've used many facial scrubs before and couldn't imagine how this one might be different, but my expectations were surpassed. The first difference that stood out was the scent. I use this product while washing my face in the shower and it feels like an aromatherapy treatment--you know when a scent brings you to another place? This brought back memories of being pampered at an expensive spa. I know it may sound like I'm being overly complimentary, but this is truly what it was like. The second difference was the exfoliating properties. The second difference was the exfoliating properties. Normally, exfoliant pebbles/beads seem to dissolve or somehow get lost on the edges of your face or fingertips, but in this product, the walnut shells maintain their structural integrity and give just the right amount of scrub. The product goes on silky smooth, and leaves no residue on your skin after rinsing. Thanks to the oils, it gently hydrates your skin as well. Moisturizer is still needed afterwards, but your skin does not feel dried out. If you didn't think you cared about sulphates or parabens before, once you try this product and feel the natural difference, you won't want products any other way. Just knowing that you're putting something natural on your skin adds to its relaxing effect. I will absolutely buy this product AND other products from this brand--in fact, I randomly saw a hand lotion from this brand and purchased it instantly (it was affordable, too!!!). The pamphlet that came with this sample made it super clear to see what you could use from this brand based on your personal needs (e.g. if you have sensitive skin, here are our products for you)--this company couldn't make my decision easier. Thank you so much socialnature for introducing this into my life; it's exactly what I need.

Gives me smooth soft skin
23 June 2022

I've been using this exfoliator for about 3 weeks now and it has smoothed my skin. I use it 2 times per week usually a Tuesday and a Friday or Saturday after cleansing at night and it makes my skin soft and smooth and removes any dry bits of skin that I have. It doesn't really have a fragrance and the granules that are in it aren't too big and they're not harsh. I actually find it really comfortable to use and I don't feel like it's tearing my skin. I also find it to have a medium thickness. It's not too runny or too thick. Just about right. I will continue to purchase this as I like the Sukin brand as they use good ingredients and don't include the bad ones in their formulations. I would recommend this to my family and friends.

Great Physical Exfoliator
3 May 2021

This is an exfoliating scrub that's meant to be used once or twice a week to help get rid of the excess build up that regular cleansing doesn't get rid of. (It's not meant to be used as a cleanser itself, which is why some are finding it doesn't remove everything sufficiently. It's an extra, not sole, product.) I use both physical and chemical exfoliators, and while some argue that chemical types are more gentle, I find a good physical one does a better job for my skin, depending on how it is. My combination skin can get quite oily so when I feel like the chemical exfoliants aren't doing enough, I go for this. I use it in the shower as it can get quite messy. I wonder if this one compares with the harshness of the nut shells (St Ives is apricot). Either way, I don't find it to be too harsh at all. In fact, I would like more effect from it, which is why I have given 4 stars. I like to use this before cleansing so I can wash off any excess that the water doesn't get with the cleanser. It's quite refreshing and nice to use, not drying at all, and I love that it only includes good ingredients; no nasties. I've used a few products by Sukin and this is my favourite so far.

Wonderful for oily skin
4 November 2022

I have used 3 tubes of this scrub. It is gentle and clears my pores really well. It's not drying on the skin and it doesn't leave it squeaking like other scrubs. I think this became a staple in my skincare routine. Worth the money - cruelty free and helping wild life brand. I support this product 100 percent.
