This product works great. It immediately stops the itching and heals the wound within days. The only problem with it is the spray cap. The spray cap doesn't work right. You can only do one spray and then have to pull the cap back up into position to get it to spray. Otherwise is a great product.

This really works at relieving itchy skin on dogs. One of my dogs has seasonal skin allergies and the other gets periodic yeast skin infections. This year i also bought the shampoo which made them feel so much better.

Rosebud was biting at her nether parts due to itching. This applied liberally relieved her jitters. I got this because we had two other dogs several years ago who were both affected by itching in different doggy-parts (stomach, behind, etc) and I used a similar product for them which also worked well.I believe a Hot Spot Anti-itch Spray is an essential for any dog's care kit. This product does the job to ease a dpog's constant itching well.

I got a puppy from a rescue who has been itching constantly, i tried this sprag to give him relief and it hasnt done a thing for him. It does smell good. The most important thing, the spray pump is absolutely no good. So youll have to soray in your hands.
Bought this because my dog was always scratching her at groin. She was always hot to the touch too, especially in that area. I sprayed this on her and it helped a lot. It is a bit messy because she had chewed all the hair off that area, would help more if it came in a foam maybe but it did help and it quieted that itch down, she wasn't "hot" to the touch anymore. I sprayed her two or three times a day and rubbed it in a bit, then I cut down to once a day and now I don't use it much anymore but will definitely use it again if she starts scratching bad again.
Does anyone here remember the Sulfodene that was a yellow liquid? It came in a small bottle and could stop a Labrador from chewing? Well, this isn’t it. This didn’t stop a senior Yorkie girl with allergies from chewing and I am so disappointed! Sulfodene doesn’t seem to sell that yellow liquid anymore, which is a terrible shame. I would have gladly paid three times as much for some that worked. If you’re reading this, keep shopping This is not the Sulfodene you’re looking for.
I have a red tick coonhound that has itchy skin and sheds fur several times during October through April... He scratches every day. I have brought him to the vet.. and we tried pediatric Benadryl tablets ... but it did not help. I always buy my pet food, toys, treats etc from Chewy.com with total success. Someone who's dog had the same problem and used Sulfodene spray (slight apple smell), and I was thrilled that Chewy offered it. I am glad to say, this has been working... after a body spray(rub it through).. it started to work...and with each day.. has been working more. after a week... just about all the scratching has disappeared - And THAT is a relief for my dog and me... as we go from here.. I only spot spray where needed...This first all over spraying cut his itching by at least 90 to 95 %. I am SO happy finding this product. My dogs itching was Not caused by fleas, ticks, mites or any other creature...Not a food allergy.. But label says it will help these also.. Vet says probably allergic to something outside brought in on his feet/fur and/or shedding.. I just know this worked..so if you are having a difficult time finding something to soothe your dog's itching... try this... and give it time & maybe a couple of treatments.. I also purchased Sulfodene ear wash for dogs... also works great !!
I bought the liquid pourable Sulfodene years ago for one of my dogs who frequently had bad skin and hot spots. It worked great at helping him heal and stop licking. He no longer has issues with that, but years later our other dog does now. I couldn't find Sulfodene in the stores, so I ordered it at Chewy. I love the sprayable application they have now! It worked on my younger dog well. It's easier to apply, and his licking has stopped and irritated skin has healed. This stuff is great! There's even a pleasant apple scent to it that is better than the old scent.
I used this on my dog. His hotspot was very sensitive to Povidine-iodine (medicated cleanser). I used the Sulfodene and he showed no negative reacrtion, in fact I think it soothed him. The hot spot healed quickly.
Our standard poodle pup was inclined to chew on her lower front legs. Her hair was getting thin there. We used this spray on the areas and the hair has grown back. She also gets itchy at night from rolling around in the grass and running in the woods (not a prissy poodle). Applying this on hot spots before bed works wonders. Stops the itch. Her case of allergies is mild, but for what she has it works wonders and I would highly recommend. I had ordered this spray from another seller and they came damaged twice. Chewey has a better price, and they arrived intact.
