RATE: • 9️⃣/🔟, only because of the scent and it may irritate sensitive skin or active eczema. The stick was a great alternative for these areas as it did not irritate it one bit. I seriously love these products. One of the first biggest things I noticed when I started to use these products was the smell. it smells so amazing and lasts. I am not a fan of most generic sun screen smells. but I have seriously gotten compliments at the beach about the smell because it is that good. but the products them self are actually amazing too. when i’m wearing them they feel super lightweight on the skin and I don’t feel like I need to re apply every twenty minutes. they are not oily as well which is a plus and if applied correctly I don’t feel need to be aggressively rubbed in! would definitely recommend this product! 🌞

Does the job, but banana scent may attract bees

I took this stick to Morrocco and used it while surfing. Normally would go for 50 spf, but stayed in small village and could not get one. This made me put this stick to test. I was impressed that it did a good job and I did not get burned, of course I re-applied as per instructions. The only thing is that it smells like bananas and it attracted few bees at the beach, would prefer it not to smell even if in other circumstances I like the scent.

Feels very heavy and greasy

I was so excited to try this for the convenience of reapplying and traveling with a sunscreen stick vs a traditional sunscreen (and it goes on clear so there's no white cast) but this is just NOT it. It has a very strong banana scent which I personally didn't mind but just something to be aware of. Even after going in with my fingers, the product sits really heavy and greasy on the skin (and my skin is dry to normal). I'm not prone to breakouts, but I always had at least one after every single use. I would not recommend this product especially if you have oily skin.

Good for second layer spot application

I found this product to be a little too thick to use as on my whole face. I was concerned I wouldn't get an even application. Instead, I used SunBum's face sunscreen lotion first and then used this stick as a second layer application for my nose and cheeks. That seemed to work really good for me. I'm quite fair-skinned and burn really easily so I need all the help I can get. My nose and cheeks were not burnt after hours in the sun! I did re-apply after a few hours too. Reapplication is pretty easy, just swipe on and go.I do feel this product is greasier than their lotion. I have acne prone skin but this product did not break me out.I like the smell. Great for dry skin!

The only reason I gave this sunscreen 4 stars was because I would not recommend it to anyone with combination to oily skin. I have dry sensitive skin so this worked out perfectly. I would recommend something more moisturizing during the winter, but for summer this is perfect! Even though it is fragranced, it did not bother my skin. I was surprised that my skin responded so well because I have had allergic reactions/ eczema breakouts from mineral baby sunscreen! I love anything banana scented, so obviously I liked this. If you are not a fan of the banana taffy scent, I wouldn't tell you to order 50 of them. Overall this is an affordable product that I would recommend. There was also no white cast. However, that is false. We can tell if there is a white caste, it is just less noticeable. This comes off as clear so you don't really need to rub it in unless you want to. (When I said breakouts, I meant acne/pimple related, not eczema related)

Have one in every purse

I got this product as a blind purchase as I needed some compact spf and I love it. I have combination skin and very pale complexion and never got sunburns while using this. Even though the product has waxy texture, it doesn't clog the pores. I can wear and reapply it all day and I will do not have pimples, unlike many other spf products, even high-end ones. Tip: if it doesn't work for your face, use it on your hands or body! It doesn't stain the clothes. I live in Florida and drive a lot so for me this product is a must have for a quick reapplication.

Worth it!

I’ve tried many face sunscreens that ended up running into my eyes after a day at the beach or pool. Eyes were on fire. This one was AMAZING and didn’t run into my eyes. It’s easy to apply to my face and I have used it both under and over my makeup with no issues. The only thing is that I felt like this was a little greasy/sticky feeling, but I burn so easily that I coat this stuff on thick. And…NO white cast!! This one goes on clear! Love it!

You saved me

I’ve wasted money on multiple sunscreens before finding this holy grail product. Every sunscreen would cause an awful reaction. I was not able to see when I went outside. My body would feel like it’s shutting down. It felt like I couldn’t even function. I still do not know what caused it, but I know that Sun Bum sunscreen is the bomb! I put it on this morning and I feel perfect. I can’t stop smiling. I almost have up on sunscreens, but now I can be protected and radiant :)

convenient product

This is a great size to keep in your bag. It has a strong banana laffy taffy scent, so if you're sensitive to scents, this might not be for you. I think it is important to realize that this is a typical sunscreen product.. it shouldn't be used in place of your normal face lotion spf. It's good to put on when you need it, not as your only defense against the sun. I like to keep it with me if I'm driving and the sun is too much on my skin. It is a thick formula, but that's the whole point. If you need something lighter, try a spf moisturizer or spray. This is definitely an "on-the-go" stick.
