First off, I should say that the sales rep at Appliances Online who dealt with me, Dylan Barbosa, was fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about him. Now, on to the oven. I have owned a benchtop oven before, so I was already aware of their two main downsides. They take up a lot of bench space and they can get very hot. I didn't have a price range in mind when I was looking at the various different ovens this time around, still and surprisingly, I landed on the Sunbeam, which was roughly half the price of the others. I really liked my previous benchtop oven and the Sunbeam is a clear step up from that one and I would buy the Sunbeam, again, in a second. You simply could not tell that the dishes, ranging from simple to complex, that I have cooked in it have not been cooked in a standard full-size oven. The unit is extremely easy to use and versatile. It would be nice if the timer could be set for longer than an hour, but that was the case with my last benchtop oven and it helped ensure I never over cooked anything. To my mind, Sunbeam has really only made one big mistake in designing this oven. It contains rail guides for only two positions rather than three. The result is that the top guides do not bring the oven tray close enough to the upper elements to really grill anything in the oven without a lot of lateral thought. I don't do a lot of grilling, so it doesn't worry me nearly as much as it would somebody who bought the unit primarily for grilling. Providing only two tray positions was a really bad error by the Sunbeam Product Design Team to my mind. Had they included three guides, even if they charged a few extra bucks, I have know doubt they would have the best selling benchtop oven under $500 to $600 on the market. Still, I am giving the unit an overall score of 4/5, in part, based on knowledge I have acquired about the other units on the market and some of their drawbacks, as well as all of the positives about the Sunbeam unit.

We received this multi-function oven and air fryer 6 weeks ago and have been using it almost daily. For a small family of 3 people this oven & air fryer meets most our cooking needs. We ended up using the air fryer function most often as it cooks the food quickly, in a healthy way, and allows the food to be cooked evenly without require turning thanks to the mesh tray. Our kitchen is small therefore having such a compact multi-function appliance rather than the conventional bigger size oven made significant difference to our space. Absolutely amazed by how easy it is to use and clean this oven. The air-fryer tray only needs gentle clean and turns out looking as new. The collecting tray would need to be lined with al-foil though to make cleaning time easier. Attached is photo of a Vietnamese dish I made this morning with the grilled pork. This only required 20 minutes of cooking using air-fryer mode at 180 degree. The meat was perfectly cooked, still moist and has crispiness on the outside.

This was the cheapest airfryer on Appliances Online. It is very well built, and well insulated - it only gets hot at the back when in use. In my view, a cooker has only two functions - heat and time. That's what this oven provides. No fancy pre-programmed settings (reheat, stew, chicken etc) or touch control panel. That's the main reason I bought it. The oven has two bar elements top and bottom (four in total), and a circular airfryer element - the biggest - at the very top of the oven, which is also where the fan is. More on that in a moment. It looks very snazzy with its chrome knobs, but they are not practical. If your hands are damp. you can't turn them. The marker on top of the knob is so far away from the words/numbers on the control panel that huge parallax errors occur if you're not careful. The one attempt at "programming" is the element selection knob (the leftmost one) which is labelled Pizza, Grill, Bake, Convection and Airfry. This is unhelpful to say the least. I've worked it out as follows: Pizza - top and bottom bars Grill - top bars only Bake - top and bottom bars (same as Pizza) Convection - top and bottom bars, fan low speed Airfry - airfry element, top and bottom bars off, fan high speed. So it has four heat settings - the element selection knob should make this clear. The oven heats up very quickly, so no need to preheat. And it cooks really well too. Chips, sausages and so on only take 10 minutes. You can reduce cooking times to two thirds or even one half of the time specified on the packet or cookbook. All at 220C. I use it a lot, and I wouldn't now be without it.

I'm at the beginning of a kitchen renovation and had to get something to cook in during this time. Only used it a couple of times so far but great little unit. Perfect for a single person, perfect size. Using the airfryer function for the first time I did slightly char my chicken tenders! I will get used to it. All in all it's a great little oven for me. Only thing I don't really like is you have to turn the timer on to turn the oven on, even to preheat. Guess I will get used to that though
Very satisfied, although so far I have only used air fryer and bake function. It does what it claims but with air fryer function you have to adjust to how quickly it cooks and have other parts of the meal prepared in appropriate time. If there was a light inside it would make monitoring cooking easier but that is my only complaint. I think this air fryer oven may cook faster than smaller air fryers I have found I have to adjust the time and temperature slightly from what is suggested in recipes. I am still learning how to best use the air fryer function but impressed in these early weeks.
The Sunbeam oven + air fryer is a bit of a compromise between both functions, but it's an acceptable one for me. It's not as good an oven as some full-sized regular ovens, and not as good an air fryer as some dedicated air fryers. For example, it's obviously smaller than a regular oven; it's slower to heat up and harder to clean than my Kmart air fryer. However it does work well as an all-rounder. Construction quality is decent, and it's a nice compact size if that's what you need. About the only thing that definitely needs improvement is providing a "ready" indicator: the BT7200 does not indicate when it's heated up; you have to guess that it's reached operating temp or listen for the very soft 'click' of the temperature relay within.
This model suits us best. Saves so much time and electricity when just cooking for 2 of us but is large enough for a quick meal when the family come over. The oven has space for a whole chicken or meat joint to cook in the conventional way. A roast meal is conveniently completed with air fried "roasted" veg whist the meat rests. Whole meal cooked in a fraction of the time our large oven would take The pizza oven is a great bonus.Cakes are cooked and ready in the time our large oven would take to heat up. They also cook much more evenly. This is the best kitchen appliance I have bought in years. Would definitely recommend one.
Due to a great special at Appliances Online, I was able to purchase this product for a bargain price. As usual Sunbeam delivers a great product which is easy to use and functional. The main feature I was interested in was the air fryer as this oven is nice and large and my previous one was limited in size. Now I cook roasts and vegies in the air fryer with ease. The added bonus of and additional convection oven, bake function, grill and a pizza function are fantastic. The oven bakes cakes and biscuits to perfection. Now I can have something cooking in my main oven and dessert underway in the Multi-Function Oven. I trawled through hundreds of reviews prior to purchase and kept coming back to this product and Appliances Online. Air Fryer s is healthy way of cooking great food. It is easy to clean. Doesn't take up much space. Healthier meals. Safe to use. I shopped at the Townsville Store and was greeted by a beautiful smile by Philomena. She went out of her way to help us find what we needed. She took extra time to find to get that product. Amazing woman. Philomena has a strong focus and she ensures that her workmates are on the same plan. She is willing to share new ways of doing things safely. I think it's true that there are two things a person should have everyday. A smile and a heart filled with gratitude for the person who inspired it. This is a really great appliance for the low cost. I have an ancient gas convention oven that I couldn't figure out how to light after trying a few times and smelling gas without ignition, frankly it just didn't feel safe to keep trying. I got this Sunbeam unit because I missed cooking roasts. It has been terrific so far. It heats up quickly because it's smaller and well designed. It cooks my food and gets as hot as I need it to get like any freestanding oven I've used. It's really all I need for a single person. As others have said it needs a light inside the box and I'd also add that it would be handy to have a indicator light when it reaches the temperature set on the dial.
