This is a great little kettle smaller in size, big on capacity and is light in weight which helps when filled to its maximum. Boils quietly and looks good as well - a fabulous product!

In terms of boiling water, this kettle is perfectly okay. On the aesthetic side I'm having a few issues with the flip-top lid and thinking of returning it. It's a sensitive lid to open. It is also a bit noisy and although the matte shade is good, it is on the dark grey colour side rather than black.

We’re happy with our Sunbeam Kyoto kettle and 4 slice toaster. The kettle is reasonably quiet and fast, the toaster is also faster than our old one and browns the toast evenly. The toaster base makes cleaning very easy, great design feature. Only disappointment is though described as black it is more grey in colour, and not a good match with our other gloss black appliances. The colour description in the ads when buying on line is inadequate.

I want to love this kettle.. it is great, it’s quiet and looks nice but the button to pop the lid sticks sometimes making it hard to fill. We’ve only had it for a week when it started doing this. Otherwise, a great kettle.
Sleek design and I love the light up feature. Only problem is the lid sticking all the time but it is easy enough to pry open. Still worth having in my opinion.
The Kyoto kettle is very elegant in style and appearance. Light and simple to use. Highly recommend this appliance.
Personally I like the product and it suits my kitchen. However the only disappointing thing is the amount of plastic. I wish that for the price it had more glass or stainless steel.
Have only had it a few weeks, so based on current usage. Looks nice and boils water. Lid sometimes gets jammed when trying to open, which isn’t ideal.
Terrible buy. Rusted within 5 boils and lid doesn’t open. Colour is also charcoal not black. Service at Lunn Ave even worse as refused to refund us so we could buy another matching set as we got matching toaster. NL are not here to help and need to learn about customer service.
WE love the kettle, the black and chrome matches all the other kitchen appliances and decor. It sits on the base easy. Takes a little while to start boiling from cold but that's ok. It has an aesthetically pleasing light that glows when boiling.
