The Iron board is stable and long lasting. This is my second Purchase. The first one is still in good working condition from past 3 years and is now in a rental property. Only issue I observed is a bit of rusting at the bottom grill after couple of years that could be due to the steam. That does not impact the functioning. I have put a new cover and the product looks as good as new.

I am so disappointed with the height of the ironing board. I am 172cms tall and and ironing on this board is an uncomfortable experience. It is not possible to test it before buying due to the packaging. I will need to purchase a more suitable ironing board which means spending more money than I had originally planned.

This ironing board maximum height is too low. I'm an average height person and ironing with this ironing board at its maximum height is extremely uncomfortable. Look for an alternative with more range in height.

I am disappointed in this ironing board . My ancient old one was so good, but in need of replacing due to rust and a few other issues. I assumed a more modern one would be better, however this one is too low and does not have enough padding. I am not enjoying ironing on it. I would love to return it but when I bought it online it said it was unable to be returned as it is considered a 'large item'. I am thinking of buying one the same brand as my old one as I know it will be higher and have more padding. I thought that being a Sunbeam brand, (they make great irons), this one would be excellent quality. Alas, I have not found this to be the case.
I got this ironing board to replace my last because it dipped in in the centre of the board, after many years of use, only to discover this ironing board has the exact problem even when brand new. Oh well, i kept it anyway.The size is good for me but beware the tallest it goes it not very tall. I am short and use it on the highest level which is perfect for me but probably not for tall people.It’s lightweight but sturdy enough.
Bought this instead of the usual cheap one and couldn’t be happier. It’s easy to use and really stable when ironing. It is heavier than cheaper ironing boards so keep that in mind if it’s likely to be an issue. I’m really happy with it and will be using it for many years I’m sure.
Had to replace it as it was not level and wobbled when setup. I contacted Sunbeam and they said to replace it. I went to replace it at Good Guys and the service made it seem as I was inconveniencing staff by bringing it back for replacement. The replacement is marginally better but it had to do as Good Guys had no others in stock. An inconvenience to have to keep taking it back.
I'm very happy with this Sunbeam ironing board. It is very sturdy and does not rock when being used. The felt lined cover is the right softness for ironing without leaving shadows. I rated 4 star as I'd like it to be adjustable to slightly higher than the maximum height, but I am 6 foot tall. Also, if you want to hang it on the wall, the iron rest slides out.
It looks good, is very well made and very sturdy. But... it is way too heavy for me to lift. (a woman of 76) Have to find someone to carry it to living room and set it up so I can iron. The heaviest ironing board I have ever owned. Even my two sons say it is very heavy. Not sure why when my earlier sunbeam ironing boards were not heavy
I bought this ironing board 6 months ago thinking that Sunbeam is a good brand with irons surely the ironing boards are just as good….No not at all. The board itself is uneven, so I have to prop in up the bottom end. When I’m ironing it’s very noisy, it creaks with every move of the iron. For the money I paid for this item, I wouldn’t recommend it at all. Very disappointed.
