Even though this moisturizer might smell as great as an orange, it gives you a different kind of daily dose of vitamin C. It's formulated with a 5% concentration of an oxygen-stable form of the brightening miracle worker called tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate so it can easily be absorbed into your skin and penetrate faster without irritation. Just as important is that it's effective at treating the five major signs of premature aging: dullness, uneven tone, sensitivity, dehydration, and fine lines. Blended with exopolysaccharides, it also protects from environmental aggressors that exacerbate aging, so your skin will be shielded throughout the day.

I had high expectations of the cream because of shining reviews and the brand BUT it failed to meet my needs. The formula takes awhile to really absorb in my skin so it leaves it feeling greasy. As for any benefits you would expect from a vitamin C cream, I found no noticeable improvement. My skin isn’t brightened and as dull as ever. No help with discoloration and evening my skin tone or anything to do with my aging skin. There were still some positives. It had decent moisturizing properties and the light citrus scent was pleasing and not overbearing. The packaging was protective and aesthetically delightful… but is the thickness and all of it necessary and really eco friendly?

I’ve been using this cream for almost a year. It is the thicker version of the vitamin c cream. I started using it in summer and I was mildly concerned that it would be a bit thick, especially as it needs a SPF on top. Instead my skin loved it! I use it on top of a light Bioessence squalene oil and in summer used either a Charlotte T primer with SPF or a SPF light serum. In winter it’s a life saver! I have some melasma and a week or so ago started to notice it was getting worse again (in December in London so no sun to trigger it) I rapidly realised the only thing I’d changed was swapping this cream for a different one (just to try it out) and within two days of returning to this, the melasma is almost gone again. It was the first range of products I've been able to use that has agreed with my skin. But last year I started to get a bad reaction to all her products so I had to start looking for a new range of skincare. I'm extremely lucky that even though my skin is dry, I've no wrinkles or lines at all even though im 55,but I still wanted a good moisturiser to keep my skin from getting lines.I've tried nearly every moisturiser on QVC, but none agreed with my skin. When I came across Sunday Rileys moisturiser with vitamin C, I thought I'd give it a try as I'd read that vitamin C was good for your ... MoreI've very sensitive skin and i have psoriasis which sometimes breaks out on my face and was unable to use any skincare products until I found Judith Williams skincare range on QVC. It's also a much thicker consistency than any other moisturiser I've used so I was a bit worried it might not absorb into my skin as easily as others have.I applied a small amount to my forehead and cheek just to test it for any reactions. Even though it's quite a thick cream, I found a little goes a long way even on my dry skin. I could smell the citrus for a few hours afterwards, but I found I liked it. There was no immediate signs of any redness or burning which i used to get with other products and thankfully by the end of the day my skin was still fine so I applied it all over my face that night. The next morning I was delighted to see my skin looked better than it has in years. It looked amazing, it was so much brighter and plumper than its ever been. It also felt so soft and full of moisture that I nearly didn't want to wash it off.I eventually washed it off using Australian body care tea tree wash, which I've been using for years as I've psoriasis on my body too and its the only wash that keeps it from flaring it up.I've been using this moisturiser on its own with no serums or oils for several weeks and I'm delighted with the results. My skin has continued to improve and there's been no reactions or any flare ups of psoriasis.I'm amazed at how good my skin looks and I'm going to continue to use this moisturiser. I'm so glad qvc have started selling Sunday Riley as I'd probably stil be using no moisturiser and my skin would be looking drab.I can't wait to try more from this range in the future and I hope they agree my skin and give.me the same amazing results as this moisturiser has

I received this as their number 20 of my space NK advent calendar. The product its self smells absolutely lovely, it has zesty orange scent. That’s the only thing that I love about this product, the consistency is not a thick consistency, but it’s not a runny consistency either. It’s a soft middle of the road consistency cream. I like a thicker cream in the winter time as my skin does get dry, I can also have eczema flareups in the winter.I have found that this consisting my skin, when I apply it, my skin doesn’t go read however, it burns for around 5 to 10 seconds and then settles down. I normally use vitamin C serum is, I’ve never used it in a moisturiser form and I don’t. I have found that this can sting my skin. I think I will just stick to having vitamin C in my serums. In future, I would not repurchase this. However, it appears that I am in the minority as this has fantastic reviews.I have used other products within the Sunday Riley range, and I really like them, This product is obviously just not for me.
I went into the store to buy the serum in this brand, which I'd received a sample of. It was very expensive and I was advised to use the serum with this product. Budget didn't allow me to buy both, but the assistant said this is a great product if I only want to purchase one of them. I have only been using it for a few days but so far, I love it. I love that it's thick and feels rich. It smells lovely and my skin feels plumper and my make up sits perfectly on the top and seems to be lasting longer than it did before. Hopefully this will become a staple on my dressing table.
I got a sample of this product when making another purchase at SpaceNK. I really enjoyed using the cream. It has a rich buttery texture and melts into the skin leaving nourished and soft. It needed a minute to absorb into my oilier skin, but once it did, there was no oily/sticky residue. The product is fragranced, but this didn’t bother me and in fact, I really enjoyed the subtle scent. I used the cream under makeup and it worked well, providing a smooth canvas and not causing my makeup to break or slide. As I only used the sample, I can’t comment on long term effects, but having a positive experience, I’d be interested to try the full size.
I’ve been impressed with this product since I started using it around a month ago. I have dry, sensitive and mature skin which can react to some products if I’m not careful. This SR moisturiser has been perfect for my skin. It has a slightly thick consistency yet it settles into my skin quickly and leaves no residue or stickiness. It works nicely with serum, cleanser and spf that I use alongside in my routine. My skin feels hydrated and soft after applying and I love the vitamin c that helps bring out some brightness without any reaction which I sometimes get from vitamin c serums. Overall, I think this a great product and suits my temperamental skin perfectly.
Received a sample. Sample size was too small to get any real indication of whether this would benefit my skin, which seems relatively useless in terms of encouraging purchases. However it was enough to determine that the scent was to strong and fake astringent orange for me. Strong scent memory of bathroom's on a holiday were triggered so not pleasant really for me, not dirty just I associated it with cleaning products not fresh oranges.I have very dry skin so probably would need to use more than was possible in the two uses I got out of the sample, but I didn't find it to necessarily be rich enough for me to use alone. Appreciate it may have been the amount I was able to use though.Would recommend people try a sample or smell instore because honestly I was ... MoreReceived a sample. I tried saving money and using all of the OTC dermatologist recommended products, but alas, I still have rough patches and dry skin and even my oily t-zone was blah. I then switched to all of the even moreexpensive products friends and magazines recommended. But nothing worked - Still had the same dull and patchy skin. So I went back to my Sunday Riley regime and man oh man, NOTHING makes my skin feel so good as these products. Deeply Moisturized and QUENCHED. Youthful. No dead skin build up. I use the Good Genes, B-Nice, CEO moisturizer, CEO brightening serum, 5 star eye, CEO Glow oil, and Juno/Luna sometimes. I also loved Tidal, not sure why they discontinued that, but hey, CEO is working. I don’t have an exact regime and change up the order of when I use what, ... MoreI tried saving money and using all of the OTC dermatologist recommended products, but alas, I still have rough patches and dry skin and even my oily t-zone was blah. For my black women... if you want to even your skin tone, tackle hyperpigmentation, and hydrate your skin, this is the cream for you! I'll start by saying that I've always thought my skin was too sensitive for vitamin C products, but this was recommended by an Ulta rep and I could not be more thankful that he did! Now I realize that everyone's skin is different so if you're unsure start off with a small amount. He recommended that I use this at night. I also use the good genes lactic acid treatment, so after I apply a thin layer of good genes, I apply this to my face and neck. This is a very RICH cream so I only wear it at night so it can absorb overnight. I wake up in the morning and my skin truly THANKS me! Hope this helps!
