Sunday Riley C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream 0.5 oz

Good moisturizer, definitely a winter product for me as it’s pretty rich, but I love the consistency and it keeps my skin plump and moisturized all day long. My skin looked SO GOOD when I was using this, truly radiant and hydrated and younger! The Vitamin C is a bonus! I do see how it could be a bit rich/greasy for some, but I have dry/combo and think it’s a great dry season product. I wore it both with and without a slightly matte sunscreen and had no issues! No pilling, pillowy consistency. Love the little jar and I think it’s a decent price point, though slightly high!

I submitted for a new product addition, but I’m sure it will take weeks to review and I wanted this review of the product to be out so people could grab it. The CEO afterglow moisturizer smells like orange blossom perfume. If you are sensitive to sense, I don’t think you will be able to use this product. The website mentions neroli scent, which I smell also. I am not sensitive, and I love the scent. If you’re looking for an effective vitamin C gel tight moisturizer, this might be a great product to dry.

I notice a difference using Sunday Riley's hydration cream pretty quickly - usually within 2-3 days. My skin is brighter and more luminous, with a smoother texture, feels nicely moisturized without being heavy, and I love the scent. Long-term, I'm unsure as to its efficacy. The only issue I have with the product is having to use the spatula to get product out of the jar. It requires a quick clean after use and is a little wasteful on my end because I like to use a cotton ball with toner to clean it off. Additionally, a jar introduces air that can degrade ingredients over an accelerated period of time. I 100% Recommend for anyone looking for a great moisturiser like this one.

I used all of this up so I don’t have a photo of it right now, I may repurchase most likely in the future but I like to use different skincare products and rotate them. I don’t think I’ll ever settle on just a handful. The color from what I remember is a pretty orange and the smell is very nice. The texture is lightweight enough but also a thicker consistency than most moisturizers, which is great. It’s basically the perfect consistency and it absorbs quick. I feel that it is very effective for a Vitamin C product.

BE CAREFUL! NOT for Sensitive Skin!

This product states it’s for all skin types, but that’s not true. I have somewhat sensitive skin and sometimes come across a product that irritates my face, but this product sent me on an emergency trip to my dermatologist. I used this 1 week ago today for the first time and am now dealing with red, rough, bumpy, and extremely itching skin all over my face and neck - Even my ear lobes are bumpy and swollen. I’m now on a steroid cream to correct this problem, but my skin is far from looking better and that’s a week after using this product once. I started looking up allergic reactions to this product online, and a lot of people seem to have the same issue. My dream face cream!

For reference, I'm 42 with acne prone slightly sensitive skin, minimal signs of aging. I started off my skin journey with dry skin but after going through a bottle of this cream, my skin finally feels nourished! For transparency, I also use Drunk Elephant Framboos Glycolic Night Serum once weekly and Cerave daily face wash but i've been really bad about sticking with a routine with exception of this cream. I really look forward to putting this on every morning. It is beyond amazing. It has a very light citrus scent and smells delicious. And wow does it feel luxurious when you put it on! It really hydrates well and overall i feel like my skin looks so much better after having gone through a bottle. I have tried so many creams, from high end to drug store. Really fantastic cream

This cream is amazing, I got a full size pot in the JL advent calendar (great box this year by the way) and loved it straight away. It is so creamy but sinks in well, normally I shy away from rich creams but this one has definitely brightened my skin. I have been using it for about 8 weeks, on to my second pot, it is expensive but worth it, also a little goes a long way, the smell is also lovely, a light citrus. Really love it and will continue to use it as long as I can, skin just feels fresher and brighter. Have paired it with a cheaper, vitamin C serum but would love to try the Sunday Riley version. Highly recommended.

This is my FAVORITE moisturizer!!

I have oily/ combination skin and I normally only use a serum during the daytime because most moisturizers are too heavy or leave me looking oily once I apply makeup. This one does not! It is very rich and very moisturizing, but once it absorbs you cannot see or feel it on the skin. It does take about 20 minutes to fully absorb before applying any other products or makeup, so give yourself a bit of time in your routine. I was afraid to try this one during the day but I'm so glad I did! On days that I go without makeup, my skin looks smooth and my pores look refined, almost as if I had applied a blurring primer. It has helped to soften pigmentation from sun damage. I normally get a lot of post-inflammatory pigmentation after a blemish. Works for skin with eczema and rosacea

My skin is dry and prone to moderate/severe eczema and rosacea. I’m terrified to try new products on my skin due to how easily it will flare up from the slightest irritant. I’m in my mid 40’s and was looking for a vitamin C cream or serum that was not drying and would not flare up my face. After receiving this I patch tested it multiple days in a row and on different parts of my face and have built up to applying it to my full face. Results are outstanding! I have not experienced any bit of irritation from this product. This cream is extremely hydrating, smells light and wonderful, and I can see how regular use will brighten skin and reduce fine lines. I love this moisturizer. It visibly reduces redness, is very rich without being overly so -- I often break out from richer moisturizers (looking at you FAB) but this one is great, leaves my skin soft without being greasy or breaking out.I will never understand why people write reviews saying "NEVER BUY THIS!!" when they clearly had an allergic reaction to it. There is ALWAYS a risk of having a bad reaction to ANY skincare product, that is why you're supposed to PATCH TEST. Your skin having a bad reaction does not mean that the product is bad, it's just a normal function of trying different products.
