I was nobody until I started wearing the glasses. I woke up the next morning with a full mustache that seemingly grew overnight. The following night I walked into a bar and there in the corner was a dusty old piano. Some otherworldly force caused me to walk over and take a seat like I was Beethoven himself. I must have blacked out at that moment but when I came to I was leading a packed room in a singalong of "Great Balls of Fire". Ive never even played the piano

Love my Caravans! They were quite expensive and I wasn't sure if they would be worth it at first, but they are. They look great and they're built quality. With glass lenses that are scratch resistant and a durable gold frame, these aren't breaking any time soon. They work too and the lenses properly block the sun and I can see great through them. I've received several compliments such as that I looked like a movie star. Well worth the money!

I love the product. I appreciate the website and ease of uploading my prescription. I had to jump through hoops several times to get my lenses made to single vision prescription through the highly automated system. I would have loved to have been able to discuss it with a human being once there was a glitch in the request. I have a progressive lens prescription but only needed single vision portion for distance for my sunglasses. This detail threw the normal process for a loop. I was about to just allow the order to be cancelled after multiple attempts to address the issue when finally somehow the request was addressed and the glasses were made.Thank you.
I bought these Ray Bans and the quality is really good. I was squinting in the sun with my old cheap sunglasses. Now I don’t squint and everything is clear and sharp. They also look good. Also the salesperson, Syndy, was very helpful and pleasant.
It singleqoute s been a while since I singleqoute ve owned Ray-Bans. I singleqoute m kicking myself for not owning these sooner. Light as a feather, they fit perfect (really comfortable), and the clarity of the lenses is amazing. You might even forget you have them on. The classic style fits nice with today singleqoute s doublequote in between doublequote 80 singleqoute s retro, hipster, and doublequote don singleqoute t care doublequote . Considering the short time it took to get these (with prescription lenses)and the cost, I singleqoute ll definitely not shop anywhere else. Why buy doublequote cheap doublequote glasses when you can buy quality glasses for cheap?
I have always been a fan of the caravan style and was excited to buy one with the gradient lens. Upon receiving the sunglasses via the rayban website, i noticed that there is some kind of bluish coating in the inside of the lens, maybe anti-reflective or anti-glare, i am not sure. In any case, whatever the intended purpose, it just makes viewing worse when direct sunlight falls from the side or from above. Since this is not a full coverage wrap around design, there is always light coming in from the side or above when outside. This causes a bluish/reddish glare always in your peripheral field of vision and it is really annoying. If you live in a place where it is not that sunny all the time, then it might work. I was replacing 35+ year old AO Original Pilot glasses that were provided to me on my first day as an air traffic controller. The Caravan's temples are too thin and vulnerable. I preferred the grey color of the Original Pilot over Ray-Ban's G-15 green lenses because I found myself squinting in bright sunlight. The price now tells me these aren't popular, and I can see why. The U.S. military may have never acquired these because they're a lower quality from AO and Randolph pilot glasses. Suit yourself, but I think the Caravan style pales in comparison to AO and Randolph.
I own a pair of non-prescription Caravan sunglasses and I absolutely love them. However I just purchased a pair of prescription Caravan's and they are literally plastic and cheap. I called the customer service and was told they do not make plastic frames. So, either Rayban has switched materials and is using a less quality metal (and I mean super cheap), or their distribution/manufacturing has been compromised with fake frames. Literally if I hadn't bought direct through Rayban, I'd think I had bought a counterfeit pair. Thats how bad they are compared to my previous pair, which I only bought about 6 months ago. They feel like a $15 pair you buy at the mall. I want nothing more than a pair of prescription Caravans with the beautiful metal of my previous pair. These are great ray bans and will be with me all the time. No more polarized sunglasses to distort my vision. These are brand new not used.
