A Stylish and Study Set of Sunnies

Ray Ban Original Wayfarer Classic glasses are one of the best styles that Ray Ban have to offer. In addition to their classic look, this style has an extremely sturdy set of hinges, a thick acetate frame and arms that feel far more robust than other pairs I have tried, as well as polarised glass lenses which are superior to the plastic polarised lenses you often see in other brands of sunglasses. Overall a great option if you are looking for a stylish set of glasses that will help protect your eyes from UV radiation.

Huge disappointment

I’m so disappointed in the quality of these sunglasses. I’ve owned several pairs in the past as they were my favorites. The pair I receive is thin and cheap feeling now. No longer the thick and heavy quality I fell in love with. How do you rationalize making them cheaper yet charging more? It’s really sad. I will be returning these and will try to find a vintage pair or go to another brand. They are seriously gas station sunglasses level now guys…. Come on .

Lens falling out

I've barely had these two months and the lens are falling out. Contacted support to see about getting them repaired nut nope, they won't fix them.I've been wearing Wayfarers since the 1970s. Ray Ban has always stood for quality and style. Now it seems they favor style over substance and quality. They only sell crap that looks good. I got a beach trip coming up next week that I was looking forward to showing off my new Wayfarers. Should have just stuck with my Gargoyles because now I'm out of $500 plus whatever I got to pay to fix the falling apart crappy Wayfarers.Maybe I can duct tape the lenses to my eyes since they won't stay in the frame.

Maybe a little complicated

I really like these glasses. IMHO Ray Ban's G-15 glass lenses are some of the best. They don't distort and the hardness of the glass means they stay scratch free with a minimum of effort. My only complaint is that with all the options available it's not straight forward to order what you want. It took me a couple of tries, but thanks to altitude's great return policy and customer service, that was easy to do. Keep in mind that besides the obvious choices in frame and lens colours there are 2 different Wayfarer styles, "Original" and "New" (except the "News" aren't really new at all, they must be 10 years old at least). There are also 2 or in some cases 3 sizes available. It's all on altitude's website but you have to familiarize yourself with it. They are pricey but ... MoreI really like these glasses. My favorite!

I recent lost a pair of 12 year old Ray Ban Wayfarers that has been my daily sunglasses since the day I got them. They were the best sunglasses I’d ever had and I missed them immediately. I got these as a replacement, thinking I’d get the same as what I had, just in a different color. I’m amazed at how much better the lenses are on these new sunglasses. They’re great to drive with and as they break in, they’re just getting more comfortable to wear. I’d recommend these to anyone both for The look and how well they function.

Quality, Stylish & Polarised for cafe or outdoors

Very happy with quality of workmanship and of course the style. I initially ordered the regular size 50, but had to swap to the 54s to suit my face. It’s worth noting both sizes physically fit nicely, but the larger lenses are better aesthetically pleasing. I’m a 61 hat size to give you an idea. The polarised lenses are as good as any purpose built fishing glasses, at least fresh water- I was able to spot trout in the stream by mothers house with ease.

Sturdy build, nice lenses!

Incredible price for some ray-bans. And if they're not genuine, because apparently we need to be wary of that on ebay, then I absolutely cannot tell the difference and they are still 100% worth the price. Like, a no-name brand of that quality, at that price, that would still be great value and and I'd still be happy with the purchase. The build is sturdy, and the lenses are fantastic. I'd always been skeptical but there really is a very significant difference between these lenses and cheap brands, like they're clearer yet still protective, it's hard to describe but it's not just about the frame and design you really do get a much better overall experience. I will buy another pair if I lose them.

Worst service of production

Rayban original wayfarer 47mm small size has been discontinued by rayban but that model in that size still have huge demand in market. I was looking up for that model in 47mm in each every website throughout the world I couldn’t found any ones. In eBay there are couple of used ones in bidding listings appeared recently, but you know there are more than 200 bids was placed on that used ones with US $190. I was literally shocked why rayban ruined the small faces fit size people! Entire the scenario I understood one thing “Rayban was thinking that they were worlds leading brand in selling sunglasses, that they can run what they want but not the people want”. glasses size

glasses way too small. Jammed up against my face and doesnt reach behind ear. Second time i got these. Last time gave to nephew.but i forgot. Says this is most common size. And hassle to return because no printer. Should send return label. I like the glasses though. Would try xxl if it came with return label.
